This short 10 minute standing abs workout is all about focusing on flexing the abs to get stronger and tighter abs. Combine this ab workout with a cardio workout to lower belly fat for a flatter stomach and stronger body. We'll go at a slower pace today to ensure time is spent truly flexing and working the abs. This is a great workout for beginners who prefer to work the abs from a standing position.

I love standing ab workouts, as I really don't like working on the floor on the mat, so thanks for creating this. It was a great workout - I felt it everywhere and was surprised at how challenging 10 minutes can feel. BTW I also liked the pic-in-pic previews - very helpful. AND the stretching at the end felt great, and was definitely needed by yours truly. Superb design, as usual. Thanks, Jules.

Just finished doing this one after i attempted the ABBA one which i bailed at 15mins . Im 69 and just come of a walking Stick & walking Frame . Phew , it made me tremble a bit but finished it hot and sweaty . Many grateful thanks for these Videos. Tumeke neh. Kia Kaha UBIQUE

Congrats for finishing it! I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). If you're just starting back with exercise, the gentle level workouts are a great starting point. You can find them all categorized together in the playlists.

Love this! An additional element of the standing workouts is Improved balance! The leg & knee lifts help you focus not only on your abs but maintaining that all important balance using a multitude of leg muscles including glutes. Great workout!! ❤️

Good Monday morning Jules 🌄☕🌄 I did your double weight training session yesterday and Oh my goodness I am feeling the effects today 😂. After putting a couple of 3 pounds weights in my hands for your core workout this morning...this didn't feel like such beginner anymore. Nice sweat going on this morning to start the day ahead. Lots to love about this one. The brevity allows focus on flexing abs (less time for mind to wander). The side knee lifts break up the traditional standing crunch. Twisting side-to-side allowed abs to be felt without testing balance. Thank you for visibly exhaling during the exertion: good reminder. This one's ten minutes that will be added to my Saved Favs and certainly Shared.

That was fantastic. I did 30 min cardio then the upper body strength then this before bed I do 20 min of hula hoop ...while watching TV lol I really enjoyed this and going try fit it in every day. Thank you sooo much xxxx❤

Good one to get restarted with exercise. Had to take a break as I forgot that my 69 year old body may be able to do the whole upper and lower workouts from last week, but will pay the price for doing so. Too much strain on the neck and lower back. My fault. This week I increase gradually. Thanks for offering such a range of workouts.

Yes, starting with 1 set for the first week or two is always a good idea when starting any new weight training session. It's amazing how the muscles get challenged with a new program. I've learned over the years to start with 1 set, and gradually move up. Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed this one.

Plus, when we slow down, we can concentrate on flexing the abs a lot more compared to moving through the movements quickly.

Oh that was fun! I love and hate ab exercises in equal measure. Now off to do last weeks weight workouts. Diet still going strong 10lbs down but need to get the exercise back up again. Watching my friends dog for the next month so will get some walking in. Thanks Jules.

You can't spot target fat loss you have to be in a caloric deficit that is the only way to lose that fat

I absolutely agree. I wrote in the description that the exercises will help to strengthen the an muscles, but a cardio workout added onto this workout will help with the belly fat.
