Completely agree! Not just that but he's also incredibly eloquent. I personally think his post final speeches, whether he wins or loses, are usually flawless. He gives immense respect to his opponents and is generally extremely gracious in defeat as well. In his early years he was a bit brash and shook up the beloved fedal rivalry and people haven't forgiven him since though he's grown by leaps and bounds.

Those people you talk about are mostly salty Fedal lovers. "Nothing outrageous in his game, aways pretty predictable, which is good, 1st time we played, I never thought in my wildest dreams I was gonna lose against Novak Djokovic..." - When Roger Federer analyzed Novak Djokovic's game after 1st loss to Serb This was pretty pitiful, disrespectful and unsportsmanlike coming from one such a champion... - This was back in 2007, Roger was 26 and he was talking after the loss from Nole, about young 19y old tennis star Novak at that time... - Bad vibe by a champion Novak could never make such petty comments on his current young rivals (Medvedev, Alcaraz, Sinner,...) I will never understand how Federer might consider as a model of modesty and class when he often criticized his opponents. He was a condescending and insulting player, particularly when he was challenged and defeated.

Novak's antics on-court are not exactly role-model standard, but his humanity and genuine care for everyone around him are something that Federer and Nadal don't have. The biased Western-worshipping media doesn't reveal this fact. Nole is a heart of gold because he went through the biggest hardships in a war-torn country, Serbia. So he can relate to anyone else's hardships and tribulations. As for his mental strength, there are no words needed.

I can’t understand how (especially young) people can look up to guys like Kyrgios, who is often extremely disrespectful towards judges, players and public and will certainly will never demonstrate his full potential because his mentality, and dislike Novak. I don’t know many other players who are more dedicated to the game as Novag. He is a genius. How he defends, how he is able to neutralize the opponent’s initiative, how he anticipates… the list is long. In all aspects of the game he demonstrates a high tennis IQ. Yes, he didn’t impress much with his behavior in the pandemic, but apart of this the guy is extremely smart and humble. Who would believe that he is still dominating in a time where guys like Alcaraz and Sinner are playing? I only saw he playing once live, against Federer in the David cup, when he was quite unknown. He lost, but what a fight! I could not believe how this guy was able to play at the same level as Federer. The rallies were mesmerizing, high speed, really unbelievable. I didn’t know that Novak would turn the most successful player in the history of tennis in the next years.

I found Novak is the only player who remembers how he started and the way he praises his opponents when he loses a game which I never heard from Nadal and Federer. I have mixed feelings. I don't think there's a reason to have issue with him off the court. He seems like a good guy, he's funny, and he's clearly very supportive of younger players which is very respectable. However, this is in stark contrast to his behavior on the court. He smashes rackets, takes bathroom breaks and medicals more than most, runs down the serve clock then gets mad when a time violation is awarded, and seems to get a kick out of antagonizing the crowd. It also doesn't help that he had a lot of questionable retirements in the early stages of his career, quitting matches as soon as defeat became inevitable instead of playing them through. It's like he plays better when he's the bad guy. Most of that's not his fault (the crowds usually aren't nice to him), but he doesn't seem to want to change.

I doubt you need any help with those issues, but I will say first of all I am not a fan of his game style whatsoever. After that the list goes on with health/pandemic response, as well as his disingenuous and transparent attempts to rehabilitate his lagging reputation. A great player? Of course.@@yankeeromeoalpha

There is no doubt that Novak is gracious in defeat and comes across as really kind to his opponents after the match. However, Novak also yells, screams, breaks rackets, hits the wooden post at Wimbledon, etc...that is not a good look for him on the court. So, if he could change that part maybe people would only see the good side.

People have double standards when it comes to Nole, look at Rublev's behaviour with tantrums and mental breakdowns every match basically yet he is perceived as one of the nicest people on tour apparently, Alcaraz was also throwing his racket last night when he was losing and smacking chair with his hand at Cinncinati etc yet no one calls them out on that unlike with Nole

@@amadeus5427 All the behavior you mentioned is totally unacceptable; however, Novak has been doing many of these things, i.e. breaking rackets, screaming on the court, etc..., for many years. It is hard to just concentrate on his good acts when people see the other bad behavior like hitting a ball after a game that hit a line judge in the neck at the US Open or smashing his racket against the wooden net post at Wimbledon. Only Novak can change how he acts on the court for all the world to see.

@@EndoftheTownProductions Please, shut up with your childish comments. Rublev screams on court much more often and you're not talking about him, at all - only about Novak. Why? The answer is simple: hate. Hate is much worse than screaming on court (which is not a bad thing, at, all, BTW, only many cretins who got hurt by Novak's wins and records, like you, have problems with that, and talk this nonsense). Just shut up, because you're only embarassing yourself by showing your poor state of mind.

This is all a lot of nonsense. He is hated because he's a cheat and a bully and a liar. The video is nothing but a montage of clips where he was acting, knowing exactly what he was doing - acting for the limelight. The parts when he is NOT acting are the important ones.

No, my dislike for Novak remains after watching this video. Yeah, he does some nice things for his opponents when he's ahead or when he wins the match. If he loses, he usually acts like a petulant child. Not to mention his terrible behavior during the covid pandemic that very likely influenced a lot of people to their deaths due to his outspoken opinions against health and science.

Djokovic is not a fake character. If he was he would portray a very politically correct image. He would have hired a public relations manager to market his image. He is true to himself - and to the public and media. He is not an hypocrite. His fellow professionals are relating their experiences with him... he is definitely not arrogant even if he screams or breaks rackets. He has done a lot of charity work which other people mention in the media.

Nadal on the other hand, gave angry dirty looks to his opponent who won the match. He also gave some angry looks and words to umpires - even threatening them... So, you better stop talking sh*t!
