Finally some recognition for Novak's perpetual sportsmanship. Even when he was a teenager, he's got one of the best attitude in losing. Always a gracious hug or tap on the chest with a smile.

tbh always thought it was obvious ever since the USO semi against fed in 2009. Djokovic couldn't help but enjoy the exhibition shot at one of the highest stages of the game and smiled even knowing he was going to lose. He's always been one to smile in the face of adversity and is a unique reason of his that I'm a big fan.

the last quality you mentioned really stands out. medvedev once confessed that when he was ranked around 70-80 odd something, he met djokovic for first time and was obviously shy in approaching the world no. 1 but djokovic is most approachable top player for low ranked players. they very easily can share few words with him and ask for small favours.

Roger has smashed loads and still smashes them. But most of his bits like that were before the prevalent social media age where every thing is highlighted and stretched. Throws tantrums at the crowd and to his box. Worst example of sportsmanship. Oh I forgot that fake smile and hug after loosing. @@chamindujanith6337 there are literally moments in this video when he is losing. He hit the judge just once that too by accident. You are saying as if he does it every f**king time. Don't say anything regarding crowd. The crowd literally heckles him so don't expect him to be nice at crowd. I've never seen him smash balls into stands. And yeah i've seen Federer do that in Miami when he was trailing to zverev. Smashing the ball angrily in stands and then arguing with referee like a kid because he gave him code violation for ball abuse. The fact is that hardly there are any players, maybe Rafa is the one who does not do it otherwise almost everyone does it be it Federer, Murray, Daniil, zverev etc but for others things never get highlighted in media. Whereas the whole social media and other platforms go full galaga as soon as Novak does something. Federer did a lot of tantrums, drama in AO17 including breaking racquets, arguing with referee like a rich brat but who cares.

This is no big deal, nothing exceptional. When you are the undisputed GOAT like Djokovic, you can afford to give away free points in the name of sportsmanship as you can win at will. He often does this with Federer, by taking the match to the 5th set just for fun though he could have crushed weak era champ much earlier - like in Wimbledon, for example.

Most unsportsman. Always cheating n showing tantrums on court when he loses. Takes fake timeouts on purpose to harass his winning opponent. Ugh !

Broken rackets definitely his fault, but the ball to the linesman’s neck was a honest mistake, no malice intended. Not a Novak fan but it was just bad luck.

Sportsmanship from Novak? He only shows that when he is winning, when he is losing, he usually shows the hates on racquets and ballboys.

Lol. Great sportsmanship in smashing racquets and letting your partner in the Olympic hanging when you decide your ego was bruised from getting whooped by Zeverev
@nishagovil9207
@nishagovil9207 2 жыл бұрын
Smashing racquets is for his own frustration, nothing to do with his opponent. And secondly he picked up a shoulder injury after match with PCB for bronze medal which is why he had to withdraw from Toronto, Cincinnati masters as well. These things happen in doubles, your partner gets injured and you have to accept and move on. You want Novak to play with an injured shoulder to make things worse.

This is the guy that can't stop smashing his racket and honestly in my opinion, the least sportsmanslike player of all of them. He's only gracious and respectful to his opponent after losing the match, but during he's not at all. Shoulda done this video with Rafa or Roger.

Man...he smashes...his racquet... because he was angry with himself...not because of his opponents... what damage did he cause to opponents by smashing racquet..tell me one.....When ever someone talk about good about him....u guys only have one thing to say... smashing racquets....common man...Grow up..

Lol whenever he shows that how poor and cheap is he(as he did in US Open final) many people come on KZfaq with a video and try to show that he is true sportsman but nooooo He will never become like nadal and federer even if he wins 21+ gd title
