If you’re a fan of the spin-off TV series "Girl Meets World," you've probably heard a thing or two about "Boy Meets World." Back in the nineties, "Boy Meets World" was the best show on TV. So much so, that the millennials who grew up watching it can't help but revisit it now that Disney+ is a go. The ABC series followed the Matthews family throughout their day-to-day lives. We got to experience their victories, their losses, and everything in between.
The show focused on Cory Matthews, his future wife Topanga Lawrence, and his all-time best friend Shawn Hunter. And let's not forget about Cory's full-time next-door neighbor and part-time teacher, Mr. Feeny, who taught us about life, love, and friendship. Everything about the TV series was perfect, but we can't deny that every now and then, the showrunners forgot to check their bases. Shawn was hands down my favorite character. I really liked his storyline. Sometimes, in the later seasons, he seemed more mature than Cory.

Nice!!! Shawn is also my favorite character on Boy Meets World. And he is also more Mature than Eric because Eric likes to be more silly because he’s kinda of the comic relief in the show.

I heard rider strong Shawn's actor say that in the beginning of the series cory was supposed to have 2 best friends and in the episode where cory straightened his hair the other friend was fired and Shawn's character had to take all his lines so that's why stacy never came back

Audrey Grotenhuis yes you are correct.. if you watch the first few episodes you will noticed they always had another friend but a different friend bc each week they would get fired lol then the episode where Shawn has a sister is bc the actor that was supposed to play the other friend was fired an they simply gave Shawn his lines

stacy (shawn’s sister ) was not supposed to be shawns sister. Remember the first season of boy meets world corey and shawn hung out with a random child that changed every episode. Stacy was supposed to be the random child’s sister but for some reason the kid didn’t play the part so shawn had to take over the other actors lines

Umm 😐 if you’re going to do a video about something at least research it please.. bc Mr. Turner didn’t play in season 1&2 then disappeared lol he he was in season 2, 3 & 4 then they wrote him off an also Shawn’s sister was a sister for another character that was let go and at the time they never thought the show would be renewed an didn’t care about plot holes bc in season 1 in the first few episodes you will noticed Cory an Shawn had a different 3rd wheel bc the creator wanted 3 friends but it didn’t work out bc they would get let go an the kid that week got fired early so they gave the lines to Shawn

if u did research, u would know that the reason shawn had a a sister (Stacey) is because he wasn’t going to be as big a role as he was. That’s why at the very beginning u see a bunch of other boys ( such as Chauncey Leopardi and Marty York) at the beginning of the series. After no one showed up/called back/showed interest in being that big of a role they gave it to rider.

That Mr Turner thing mindfucked me as a kid. What the hell? They didn’t address what happened after his motorcycle accident and just swept it under the rug. I was so mad! I was so happy that Girl Meets World addressed it and had him come back.

Don’t forget how Cory, Shawn, and Topanga suddenly aged 2 years! They were in 6th grade season one and by season five they were graduating high school... If they were to go with the original plot they would’ve only been in the 10th grade finishing up their sophomore year of high school!

Also, the actor that plays Josh in the last episode appeared in the episode after Cory and Topanga's honeymoon, when they're going to their new room. He's their neighbor's kid

What i really don't understand about Corpanga storyline is Cory's behaviour in the beginning. They obviously weren't in love with each other from pre-school, Alan once said himself that Cory always made fun of her. She was a freak for him before he knew her better, or Topanga started to act differently, cause she wasn't that crazy hippie anymore in season 2. They weren't even actually friends in earlier episodes, but Cory says that he ALWAYS knew that Topanga was Cory's true love.

In the episode when Topanga comes back to Corey after her family movies, Corey mentions he and Topanga were always together in their early years until he was 6 when Eric convinced him that it wasn’t cool to have a girl best friend, so for the next 7 years he threw dirt at her until she pushes him against the locker and kisses him which is in the first season and he is 13 years old. I’ve always wondered about the holes in their love story but after watching for the thousandth time over the course of 20 years I found this to be the most accurate explanation

The one about shawns sister Stacey was explained by the actor. It was because the originally cast second best friend got fired right before they filmed the scene so they gave shawns actor all his lines

fun fact that i found, is that the actor that played Joshua as a toddler in the episode named “A Brave New World Part 2” is the same kid that played the little boy that was in the hall way and said “i see dead people” when cory and topanga went to their married dorm in the episode named “The Honeymoon is Over”

Also, when did Cory have his first kiss?? I know when he was pinned against the locker when he was 11 they said it was his first, but then later on he says that it happened when he was thirteen. But then in a later episode cory tells shawn that when they were 4 cory kissed topanga in the sandpit. So which is it??

I just watched a heart-warming story of Boy Meets World with the cast, and then I clicked this. I don't know why, and I did not need to see the silly mistakes that don't even matter in this amazing 90s show. No offense to the creators of this video.

The reason there are so many different stories about when Cory first fell in love with Topanga is because it kinda shows that he always loved her. In GMW, Topanga recalls when they fell in love and she lists every scenario that Cory says in BMW.

The sibling mystery I think is probably because Topanga was never meant to be a main character on the show. She was supposed to be a weird kid from school only for 3-4 episodes so Feeny can teach Cory a lesson about inner appearance. A few seasons later, when she started being his love interest, she became a main part of the plot. So we never really cared about her family background initially,

also shawn is 1 years older than cory hes only in the same grade cause he was held back then 2 what happend to corry other friends larry and elis they were there in season 1 some episodes but sometimes we dont see them when topenga in there and jason disapeared 3 minkus was only in first season and 6 season he says that he says he is in the other building but where is the other building 3 harly is a senior yet we dont see him in the senior building

Every mistake is refuted IN THE SHOW'S DIALOGUE or by way of simply not existing at all, to the point that the script for this video was a deliberate troll. The fact this video is missing the actual mistakes the show creator let slip because he didn't think that many people were watching at the time supports the troll vid theory, they figure fans would probably already know the real mistakes. I think the goal of this video was to make me scrunch my eyebrows and go "whaaaa??"

Ok your screwing things up first it was her family (topanga) moving to Pittsburgh not Corey. Mr turner if you watched Girl Meets World went and became superintendent of schools in New York. With Chet tracking down Shawn mother it is possible be in so many schools in short period. Your assuming they stayed entire school year.

Oh topanga came in back door not front door when she returns from Pittsburgh. They may have played dumb outside class cause they got bored in school as they were actually very smart and it came too easy for them.
