When i was at #3 i was asking myself, whats the next 2. I know their first kiss would be there but what else. The wedding? Nah, the wedding, it wasnt all that, the honeymoon? Nah, Ohh 100% Eric with tommy, gotta be, atleast a honorable mention. And i was dissapointed. Only scene in bmw that actually made me shed a tear

Eric and Tommy was such a tear jerker, but an awesome story. Tommy's reaction when Eric said he couldn't adopt him and then Eric walks away from him completely shattered and in tears. I was so thrilled to see them touch on that in Girl Meets World. Tommy explained to Eric that as he got older, he understood why Eric did what he did. So beautiful.

Good call! Will Friedle (Eric Matthews) was one of the most underrated TV actors of all time. He could make you laugh and cry all in one episode. Truly a gifted actor that only BMW fans know about

Hubby and I were talking about the "goofy clueless dad" stereotype in modern sitcoms and were trying to remember the last truly decent father figure in a family show. We decided on Alan Matthews. Honestly, I haven't seen a more honest balanced portrayal of a dad since then. Which is a real shame. The world needs more good father figures in the media.

I’m one of the BIGGEST BMW fan out there, but you cannot do better than that last scene in the series with the 4 main characters sitting in one final “class” with Mr. Fenny! Not many tv series or even movies can create a moment like that with SO much emotional impact on both the actors and audience!

Omili THIS!! :D Don't get me wrong, I do love Cory and Topanga and think they're super sweet and all, but let's be real: the true best relationship on the show was absolutely, 100% Cory and Shawn. Even Topanga knew this xD In all seriousness though, it is SO rare to see such an real, deep, emotionally available friendship on tv period, let alone between two teenage boys. And for as much as the show did like to tease about their relationship verging on homoerotic, those jokes never devalued the fact of how important they truly were to each other. At the end of the day, they really are platonic soulmates for life, and I've come to appreciate that more and more as I watch the show back as an adult.

I loved their high school years, Topanga and Cory are a great couple, then there was Shawn: was really odd, I felt heart-broken seeing Mr.turner hurt like that. That ski-lodge thing felt meh. I was crying so hard seeing Chet hunters dead. Cory proposes to Topanga is so sweet. Mr.feener is a wonderful person, and give amazing speeches and filled with heart. The wedding was great, the vows were so heart-filled. The poem is my favorite moment is crazy. The kiss was so random, and funny

In GMW they go back to the Ski Lodge. Reilly has a deep all night conversation with the guy who works the desk. As the group is Leaving the desk clerk says "Oh Mr Mathews, my mom says hi!" Based on the boys age, are we sure all Cory and Lauren did was kiss? Does Cory have another child out there? Did Lauren take advantage of our sweet Cory. Is this the real reason GMW was cancelled?

"We want you to be part of this family"... The episode where Shawn feels lost without his dad and the Mathews family helps him realize he's always been part of their family. Or the episode where Cory starts drinking to get over his and Topangas break up and Shawn also begins to drink to hide his pain only to realize he's turning into his dad when he pushes Angela into the door.

They definitely should've been on there! But the first one you mentioned was more about learning Virna wasn't his real Mother and so he was realising that he didn't really have either of his parents (even though he already knew that, seeing as Virna was rarely around anyway...) and felt really unwanted... :( But they definitely should've made the list, at least the honourable mentions!

the moment Shawn gave Mr. Mathews a bday present of his handprints was so touching at that moment Shawn excepts them as his family, even though they have always been family to him. just like the episode when Cory tries to record Shawns trailer park and his other half brothers tries to kick Corys ass and he protects him and calls him family.

I love Boys Meets the World!! One of the best tv shows!! 😭😭👏🏽♥️ I know it sounds cheesy but that show really taught me a lot of life lessons. my favorite characters are Shawn and Eric!! 💕I love Mr.Turner & Shawn relationship dynamic!! And the relationship Mr. Feeny has with all of them ,really proves how effective a teacher can be. My favorite episode is when Cory and Shawn argue like a married couple granted, they do that the whole TV series but there’s this one particular episode where they just go back-and-forth with each other...please msmojo, do you more top 10 ten boy meets world, some other honorable mentions when Topanga get sexually harassed by a college professor (played by Fred Savage), or when The OG friend group goes against their college friends, and nearly breaks up all their friendships and thanks to good old Eric saving the day with his manifesto, and honestly any storyline involving Shawn Hunter😍♥️💔

one of my favorite and most heartfelt moments was when cory and topanga had broken up in season 5, and shawn was saying that he had to admit it was over between cory and topanga and the scene went like this: cory: you know it’s a weird feeling shawn: to know it’s over between you and topanga? cory: no, to be the only guy in the world who knows it’s not it always makes me tear up a little, it’s so sweet🤧

TGI Friday classic and I’m glad I was here to enjoy growing up with this show! So many life lessons gleamed from episodes and I adore the cast! My favorite episode was when they reconciled in Disney and that wonderful scene at night

Yes, I feel Boy Meets World can really touch peoples’ hearts, but at the same time it can make people laugh. It did that to me. Boy Meets World was my favorite show back in the day.
