I just want to say I appreciate seeing another dude talk about craft fairs. Don't get me wrong everything I have learned about craft fairs in art fairs have come from women on KZfaq, but it's nice to see another guy like me talk about the content I'm interested in

Thank you, I appreciate you saying that! When I started the channel, I was a bit worried being a man and giving advice in a majority female industry - but the response has been amazing and I just want to help people. I’m so glad to be accepted as a man offering advice in this industry. I’ve also learned most of what I know about craft fairs from women. My business was 2/3 female-owned and about 90% of my followers are women. I guess it just feels good to be accepted :) Thank you again for commenting & watching! I was worried about this subject coming up one day in a negative way, and the fact that the first time it came up was a really positive comment makes my day.

Thanks for the tips. I have a hard time with knowing if the browser/customer wants your attention or not. Seems like there is a small percentage of people who want to be invisible. I’m guessing that’s when they are more the browser than shopper. I bring a taller stool to rest on when it’s slow which keeps me visible and engaged. Standing is the best though.

If you're unsure - my best advice is to mirror their vibe. Be friendly - say your greeting and smile - but then if they are chill, be chill with them - if they get excited, join in on it. I think a lot of times people already set the mood and the vendor should just match it as best they can 🙂

That is sooo true about eating something healthy when you have a craft booth😂😂🤣🤣 I went to a craft fair as a customer and I went into a booth where I asked the seller a question about a product and I wasn't even that close to him, his breath smelled so bad like garlic and something else. Then I tried to forget about that and kept looking in his booth at things and all of a sudden it starts smelling so disgusting like this guy had not farted in a year😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣 I left that place quickly and in a very bad mood at the time it happened but now that I think about it I can't stop laughing🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂
