Your locs are gorgeous 😍. I would say don’t color it just yet. Allow your hair to fully loc. Trust me I’ve been itching to color my locs too. Also, I think the side that’s shorter in length will eventually level out with the other side. ❤️

Your hair is looking great! I'm 4.5 months into smallish (not micro) locs and your page is one of the reasons I finally took plunge and did it. I would hold off on the color and any possible trim until you hit the one year mark. Your hair is still locking and you don't want to trim and then that side starts to tighten up and you're back to being lopsided.

I had a similar problem with really uneven ends in the back. At 6 months, I couldn't handle it and had my hairdresser trim off quite a bit to try and even it out and for better volume (the uneveness was weighing it down with no shape). I'm 13 months in now and the shape is so much better but I do have one side that is slightly longer now, exactly like yours. I think it could be because there was still some shrinkage room left to go at 6 months. I'm going to wait a couple more months then even it up when it's hopefully mostly locked.

I love your hair the way it is now, I love the color. I think whatever decision you make about adding more color or cutting it, it's still going to lovely. I'm actually thinking of going to color mine now. Next week I'll be 2 months gone and doing my first retie. I'm not sure if I should do the 2 point rotation or your 3 point rotation. Not sure what the difference is. Maybe your can do a video of the difference between 4, 3 and 2 point rotation. 😁😁😁. One more thing, plz plz do a video on your makeup bc its so well done.😁😁😁
