I’ve travelled much of the world. Austria is the perfect mix of incredible natural beauty, year round lifestyle, culture, tradition and good living standard. Italy is a very close second with Norway an honourable mention.

@@factsfrenzy721 The one that I hadn't heard of was Sankt Gilgen. I would really like to spend a week there. Carinthia looked interesting also. Voralberg looks like a hiking paradise!

Liked and immediately subscribed. We just booked flight to reach Vienna on 26th June. Then when I was exploring YT videos, your’s popped up. Since you mentioned as a dedicated team , would you mind help us plan our itinerary , might not be able to visit all the 10 places. I need your suggestion after our initial stay at Vienna, which place you recommend, we just want to relax, enjoy the most beautiful areas. As such coming without any preset number of days to stay, flexible in our plans. Also do you recommend to rent a car and drive up to the next destination in Austria from Vienna ? Appreciate all your answers and comments. Cheers. 👍

Thanks for Subscribing. June is an amazing time to go. After you visit Vienna, I would recommend you check out 4 places. Wachau - as it's not that far from Vienna - you probably only need a day for Wachau. Within Wachau you'll find a town called Durnstein, which is the most famous town in Wachau. It's a picturesque town and they are known for their bakeries and their bread called wachauer brot. You should then make your way to Salzburg which is about a 2.5 hour journey from Vienna. We would recommend you make Salzburg your base from where you can do day trips to the surrounding areas after you have visited Salzburg. We would probably recommend spending 4-5 days in Salzburg to explore the city and the surrounding areas. From there you should check out Zell am See which is an hour drive from Salzburg which has stunning lakes and a boat ride there is must. Sankt Gilgen is also a must visit and is about 30 mins from Salzburg. In Sankt Gilgen you should go up the cable car which will give you amazing views. If you have time you should also visit Hallstatt which is also an hour’s drive. In terms of best places to rent a car - we always recommend car rental comparison websites. The one we use most is called rentalcars. Hope this helps 👍

I‘m from Austria exactly from a small town near Innsbruck. I moved to a village near Graz 5 years ago and at the moment I‘m based at Zell am See. Very good video with beautiful places. I loved Zell Am See. Stayed there on a Ski Trip to Kitzsteinhorn and saw a bar fight at the Insider Bar 😂 Wish I could move there for the rest of my life!
