I remember, in season mode, i was fighting Brock Lesnar in a last man standing match and got literally everything in red damage and he still kept getting up at 6. No matter what. I thought it was impossible. I had to steal 2 F-5's in a row and my guy's finisher and he finally stayed down.

Beat the Streak was pretty damn difficult, especially when you picked Diesel and the like for the achievement.

I managed to beat the undertaker in WWE2K14 in Defeat the Streak. It took me dozens of tries. I managed to pull it off with Shaun Micheals after hitting 5 Sweet Chin Musics. It’s hard. They even skew the game to give Taker advantages. If you hit him with a finisher, the lights will go out. Taker gets up and gets a free finisher. Keep in mind that finishers are WAY harder to reverse than now in 2K14. And Resilience perk was much worse. It was one time use and made it slightly easier to kick out. It’s basically required to beat Taker because reversing finishers and kicking out of them are both frame perfect. On top of that if someone kicks out of any move in general they instantly get up in 14 regardless of what they were hit with. Normally it’s a fine mechanic but when you spent 15 minutes trying to survive and get a finisher and taker kicks out, he gets right back up to reverse all your moves. It was hard. There was only one way to beat Taker without immense skill. If you edit superstars and replace takers tombstone with top rope moves he won’t use them at all when you fight him, so you’ll never get hit with a finisher because the game isn’t programmed to tell taker to go to the top rope if he has a finisher. It’s basically cheating but anyone can do it with little effort. And I never found out about it until months after I beat Taker. It took me 5 days of playing against him for hours to finally pin that cheating bastard. I still remember it like it was yesterday. One of my favorite moments playing video games ever.

Undertaker in Beat The Streak Mode was easy to beat. His mystical powers didn't work outside of the ring, so all you had to do was use weapons outside of the ring to weaken him.

I played the season mode as Goldberg, I won the hardcore, Intercontinental and tag team titles, and held them to the end of the season, yet I challenged Triple H for the heavyweight title and I couldn't beat him

I've managed to beat The Streak on several occasions myself, by taking advantage of the NHB stip, and just spamming step shots now and again.

That damn 2K14 Undertaker still gives me nightmares

I remember trying so hard to beat the streak when I was younger but once I beat it I realized how easy it was. All you gotta do is kill him with the ring bell outside of the ring, store three finishers, and then hit two finishers in the ring and if he doesn’t appear behind you with a finisher hit your third finisher and that should do it. If not keep killing taker with the ring bell. It gets boring after a while but it’s relatively easy.

It may not be a single wrestler but in day of reckoning 2, there is a fatal four way cage match for the ic title against Shawn Michaels, Kane, and Christian. I’ve owned the game for over ten years and I’ve yet to be able to beat it. This keeps me up every night.

Taka was my go to pick for the rumble in No Mercy. I remember losing every time to him when he was AI via a dropkick or reverse power strike and I'd go flying over the ropes. I think any character that can do a quick power hit, will have a good chance winning by their ability to send people flying out of the ring.

For me a hard match to beat when it first came out was in WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2008 when you get teamed up with Jeff Hardy but then he get's Injured and it's a 1 on 2 handicap match against Undertaker and The Great Khali.

I would add Kurt Angle in Smackdown vs Raws: i had an Ultimate Submission match, Benoit vs Angle, i scored the 6-5 point with 20 seconds to go and i thought it was over.. then he came up so i had to kick him in the gut to setup the Crossface (or gain some seconds) but he catched my foot and directly put it into the Ankle Lock with instant TapOut from my character (legs were red and the give up animation was automatic)... Angle was also a reversal machine in HCTP making every match pretty long but Goldberg and Lesnar there were just too strong: they could gain half a finisher and turn you from blue to yellow with just one powerful reversal

I struggled with Ric Flair in DoR 1 because his chops hit so hard and he reverses often, but after getting a running Finisher and doing damage outside, I beat him. Trying to see if I can beat Big Show now.

The funnest I’ve ever had playing against the CPU in a WWE game was against Lesnar in HCTP in the story mode with my CAW. I insulted Stephanie McMahon so she made me face him and my stats were like at an overall of 38 at that point. So it was just a constant hit and run while trying to avoid any move, and I still lost…but it was so much fun.

I made a giant as a kid on hctp story mode but when I got older I finally realized why I had such a hard time with lesnar and Goldberg even though I maxed its stats. I made him a 7’ cruiserweight. Oof.

This is the very first thing I do with these newer games since they gave us the ability to do so. I definitely remember the almost superheroic effort it used to take to beat certain guys. I put every wrestler as if they were at the peak of their careers. The ONLY wrestler I ever give a 99 to was Andre. The old skool games you covered were at the onset tough to beat. But after a few days of playing, beating them became almost a snore fest. But HTCP was and is so much fun, I still play it & No Mercy. I miss the old weight detection physics. And Strowman? Ran through him like shit thru a goose! Lol! His movements are sorta limited and easy to counter.

I beat the Streak twice in 2k14 with Brock Lesner and Triple H. You just have to be ready for every move and get your trigger finger ready for the reversals. Both times it only took three finishers, that was of course after a couple Tombstone reversals (which btw reverses into another Tombstone).

Should do top 10 toughest challenges/matches Ie: that time in SVR 2007 when u have to face all 3 faces of foley in 3-1 handicap match on lenegdary difficulty

I was playing 2K22 and I was Umaga vs Rikishi and every time I would make lose all his health Booker T would come in and one time it played a cut scene where he did his finisher and this happened 4 times

I don’t recall struggling against anyone in wrestling games except for Cactus Jack in No Mercy, I would always beat him but it was always a fight and in WWF Attitude career mode, they would sometimes have you wrestle 3 vs 1 handicap matches. All 3 CPU players would come right for you and not let up.

I was able to beat the Undertaker in the beat the streak mode with Jinder Mahal, who I believe was a 73 OVR at the time and the lowest male OVR in the game. Definitely was a pain and took a couple of tries but I did do it.

Dude, Shaemus in WWE 2012, while being Forced to Play as Sin Cara... I Threw everything at that Guy, and he would NOT Go Down and Stay Down. He just Refuses to do so. No Matter what you try. He will Simply Counter everything, easily Damage you, and Win.

I think the reason why taka michinoku was overpowered was because of how many times he came back in the royal rumble 2000. Also him and kai would mess with people in that rumble

Beat the streak certainly was hard but there is an easy way to do it. Pick a superstar with a submission finisher. Work the body parts the submission affects. Needs to be dark red. Ensure taker has NO finishers before attempting finisher Spam. Generally he will reverse the first attempt then you will have to reverse his next move. At this point hit your finisher if its upright if not knock him down and hit the finisher. Once this is locked in you will get him to about 3/4 of the bar either a special movie will trigger or he will just straight up overpower. Reverse him knock him down. Do a STANDARD move he will reverse. Reverse him knock him down and lock finisher back in this time you will be able to make him tap

Undertaker in 2k14 was an absolute bastard. Unlimited chokeslams, and he could lock you into Hell's Gate at anytime, so proud to have beaten him

I've beaten the streak so many times. I would agree the undertaker is hard to beat but you learn pretty easy how to win as every one.

SvR2007 had a story mode or challenge type thing where you have to fight Great Khali as Mickie James...I managed to beat it, but all I did was edit Mickie's moveset and made her play like RVD, that's who I play best as, also Jeff Hardy. Anyway, that's how I beat that challenge. Also in SvR07, there's one where you play as Foley in a 3v1 handicap against Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love. I left the ring and let the ref count to like an 8 and ran in the ring so Dude Love, Cactus and Mankind got counted out! 🤷😅 It's legit!

Warzone is undoubtedly a classic. You'd be delusional to think otherwise. The story ladder mode was incredible.

HBK SDvsR 2011 is super annoying to beat. No DQ match I was Cena beat him with weapons, HHH came out and attacked him, full red body amd still kicked out of 8 pin falls after a finisher and 5 submission holds. What makes it worse is they restarted the match into a submission only match and he broke out of ever hold with a full red body for 10 mins.

Perry Saturn in No Mercy had that spinning low kick you could spam in battle royals and get some of the easiest eliminations ever.

The Rock on no Mercy, not only he will counter every damn move, but gives you a couple of punches and he was on Special mode already. Still I´ve play No Mercy for so long that non of them is hard to me anymore, if i choose to screw with the AI at least.

Big show in the RTWM stories in cut scenes made him look like god. Also I've beaten Undertaker's streak many times here what you do. 1.) Fight him outside the ring so he can't do those cheating mini cut scenes. 2.) Get a his head and body to red. 3.) Get a finisher ready. 4.) Both go in the ring. 5.) Use the finisher pin Undertaker and hope you win.

The first one I thought of was Ric Flair in WWE Day of Reckoning on Gamecube. But it makes sense that you chose Big Show for that game. If you went to Raw, Ric Flair was unbeatable and if you went to Smackdown, Big Show was unbeatable.

I did Undertaker in WWE 2K14 ! The fight is not that impossible but when he's teleporting it's infuriating. I don't think you said it in the video but you have to beat him like 6 times with predetermined wrestlers. And it's the only way to unlock Undertaker outfits :(
