The Vasa Museum literally took my breath away when I first walked through the doors. What a 1st impression! History, artistry & human aspirations & foibles all in one. Not to be missed.

My jaw literally dropped when I entered vasamuseet a couple years ago. The artistic detail put into that boat is pretty incredible.

I visited 7 of them when I studied in Uppsala in 2015! The Vasa museum is probably my favorite museum I’ve ever visited and the ABBA museum is so much fun. In a weird way, Skansen reminded me a lot of home.

Vasamuseet is my personal favourite. I have been two times in Stockholm so far. I simply love this museum. Personally I like history, when you can "touch" (literally, not especially physically ;-) ) it. When it is not only a story in a book or on a wall or something. So Vasamuseet will remain on my To-Do-List ;-) ABBA The Museum is just great. Like the band ;-) Last year I also visited the "Historiska" and Nobelmuseet for the temporary exhibitions.

I really need to go back to the ABBA museum. We were there shortly after it opened but the kids weren't up for it so it was a speedy visit.

Naturhistoriska is great too, both in contents and architecture. (A bit further away from the city center though.)

I've worked as a security guard at the royal armory and I really enjoy the place. They often change out their exhibits and it's been a fun experience every time I've come back to visit. I can also recommend the Halwyllian palace museum on hamngatan. It's lesser known but extremely interesting. (Used to work there too.)

Had been to the first 3. The rest I walked by. But we were in Stockholm for 3 days give or take. I want to come back one day

Technically it was in Oslo, but I think the comradery and the complete blurring of gender lines were the best. And the constant access to midnight sandwich snacks.
