Few things to note about the first story. As far as I'm aware the "Sioux" do not have any stories on "skinwalkers", that's a Navajo thing. They have shapeshifter stories, but those are not typically malicious. Also, South Dakota has several native tribes. While many are Sioux related, many still distinguish themselves as different or unique and typically do not refer to themselves simply as "Sioux".

I’ve been listening to skinwalker stories at work everyday for the last 2 months. And today is the first time I got a little freaked out when I listened to the “I inherited a skin walker” story and she named the skinwalker “Jarred” that’s my f.cking name. It’s not a very common name at all I rarely ever hear it. The universe is fucking with me 😭😭

I'm from a small town, and I hate tree-huggin hippies as much as anyone else. But anyone that goes out to shoot helpless animals the way the protagonists in that story shot those raccoons from their vehicle, deserve whatever comes their way when confronted by a cryptid! Not cool, not ok.

Wild that anyone could say with any certainty that something we maybe are yet to discover doesn’t exist in a world like this. We have a lot to learn from other cultures. Some of them are far more open to this stuff. See ‘orang bunian,’ for example. ‘Where there’s smoke there’s fire’ often turns out to be spot on. If you’re open to this stuff, or perhaps you’ve seen something with your own eyes (makes it easier), I would highly recommend researching reports of ‘fairies.’

His thumbnails are some of the best. They are deeply dimensional & darkly hued. The moonlight ones are the most beautiful , cold & eerie. Sometimes, I go as far , as to screenshot them. I digitally add my own original & self generated, unknown creatures of darkness, into the scenery. I do them very, very small, with identical colours, to blend into the scenery, by being to scale, with the imagery. So you have to " zoom " , to properly view them. It's my stress relief past time, just like this channel here is .

Only thing I find unfortunate is it's easy to tell which are creepypastas vs maybe real stories. Wendigos don't look like deer in native myth that's a pop culture thing from movies. That and the one dude whose submitted so many but are all as if he's other people or living in a cw show.

I'm starting to wonder if some or alot of these sightings, specifically any story that mentions rotting or decaying deers that are somehow still alive, have anything to do with the growing number of CWD cases around the US, mainly Yellowstone.
