What’s cool about the “ghost girl” is the fact that the item you find is a reaper cloth. Which means she was a spirit that couldn’t pass on because of “unfinished business” like people have always believed over the years. But once you deliver her letter she no longer has unfinished business so she can now pass on, and that’s why the grim reaper came for her, dropping a piece of his outfit. It’s a neat touch.

I never guessed that guy was supposed to be a Giovanni reference. I thought it was just random NPC nonsense.

Actually, the Pokédex entries for type null say that research notes were stolen from Alola (likely by a macro cosmos spy). I theorize that maybe Rose wanted a failsafe in the form of a steel memory type null in case Eternatus escaped. But he didn’t manage to befriend it, since he only saw it as a tool.

And Hop is 189 - hiyaku, which means "hop". The numbers for the protagonists in the adventures manga are 808 for Victor, and 303 for Gloria, but i have no idea what it could mean, however in official artwork and merchandise, they're both depicted with the number 227, which is the release date of pokemon red and green in Japan Update: for the new characters in the two DLC. Avery 026 - otsumu, meaning "brain". Klara 881 - yabai, meaning "dangerous". And Peony 082 - oyaji, meaning "dad"

One of those Type Nulls was Gladion's, another could be the one you get after beating SuMo/USUM, and the third one could be the Type Null you get in SwSh.

Whats-his-face had two, he gave you one at the end of that game and no one knows what happened to the third. In Sword and Shield, there is a Scientist who talked about creating more of the "Giant Killer" meaning Type Null is now in Production.

I'll always view it as a huge missed opportunity that they didn't have teenage Lillie be the one to give you Type: Null in SwSh. I think that would've made a LOT more sense.

Type: Null can be founded with the girl in Battle Tower (formerly Rose Tower) You get this Type: Null after you becoming a champion.

The ghost girl was always a sort of playground legend in my town, as alot of us didnt have internet often. So when we would say "OH MY GOD I SAW THIS GIRL ON THIS PLACE AND THEN SHE DISAPPEARED" was always something that everyone would try to do when they got home.

I know you didn’t mention this but, they dropped huge hints in Pokémon X and Y for both ORAS and SM with loads of Hoenn references, the “Strange Souvenir” and other Alola hints by the hikers in the hotels.

If you read Type:Null's galar pokedex entries, it states that Type:Null has become more popular, and many have been manufactured globally, I guess becoming "mainstream" for a slang term.

Well, I know the video is old but I got two things to point out. First, Type: Null isn't quite so unique that the only one in existence is Gladion's. You can get your own at the post-game for gen 7, and it's a legit one. I have no idea why anyone would give away a random one in gen 8, but it's possible to give context to that if you look at its origin story. Except, I guess Game Freak couldn't be bothered. And second, Kanto wasn't necessarily mentioned multiple times in gen 7 to hint at the Let's Go games. A bunch of other regions are mentioned in gen 7, be they small references or undeniable callbacks. Part of the reason why that happens is that gen 7 is a celebration of the franchise's history. Kanto is mentioned *so much* in gen 7, though, that it's way beyond an easter egg like the map of the next gen being hidden somewhere.

Beeeeet, that sinnoh theory is entirely possible considering the hints they always drop for their next games. I remember how we got the strange souvenir in X and Y, hinting towards Alola. The galar maps and posters of gigantimax pokemon were something to look at in reference to galar, as well as all of the kanto things in Sun/Moon (this includes the rip of Lt.Surge's gym.) If we get a remake of DP, they will probably do it like ORAS and make Shaymin part of the postgame, probably going to make it quite a bit like the movie with Giratina.

In sun and moon it is said that there is 3 type nulls in the world. We see all of them in the Pokémon world. Our second rival in sun or moon has one. We get one in sun and moon post-game. And the one in sword and shield post-game.

I'm never playing pokemon on my birthday because its early November. The new games normally come out a week or 2 after. And I'm normally bored off them after a year and ready for the next one.
