There is a small island with just 1 person and that person can erase all of EV's for 10 Armorite Ore of slected pokemon - this is super useful as you no longer need to spam berries on pokemon to reset the EV's. There is also an NPC that can randomly appear on the IoA and give you multiple Armorite Ore, but if you unlucky she will give you none if her shovel breaks while digging for those. p.s. Getting Alolan Raichu, Exeggutor and Marowak from NPCs is the only way to have those pokemon legit for VGC (because they must be obtained within Sword/Shield games but they don't have alolan version of the babies so you can't breed to get them).

I found one interesting Easter Egg! First one are three mini beds at the Master Dojo. They're next to Mustard, while playing the Switch. We know the three mini beds are for the Kantonian starters, but what I find interesting is there's three. It's pretty obvious that the orange bed is for Charmander. But the question is where's Charmander? I did a theory the Charmander that Leon left at his bedroom, could be the one from the Master Dojo. Which makes sense, since the Kantonian starters Honey gives you, are capable of Gigantamaxing once they reached into their final evolved forms. We don't know where Leon got the special Charmander, since Gigantamax can't be passed down to offspring. However, it's possible that Leon must've got it at the Master Dojo before the events of Sword and Shield. But why would Leon take Charmander, while he already has a powerful Charizard that can Gigantamax? Perhaps Leon plans to give Charmander to a worthy person. Who knows though but seeing three mini beds, made me think of Charmander.

It's not a hint to a new game. That tournament will probably bring in trainers from other regions for battling.

When you trade with the NPCs, the Pokemon you get have an egg move as well. Zigzagoon had Extreme Speed, and Weezing had Pain Split that I've noticed so far. They also have 3 Best IVs.

a few more secrets/nice features: - honey does not just want 1 million watts, she wants a total of 3.28 million - you also get a wearable gold crown added to your clothing collection after you finish the isle of armor pokedex and presumably talk to the lady at the station who gives you the mark charm - once you've finished the isle story you can talk to the student in the back left corner of the main room of the dojo and she'll give you a shirt with an image of your dojo rival on it (psychic guy for shield, poison girl for sword) - if you go to the desert area on the isle after you've finished the story you will find your dojo rival there and they will give you their rare league card - the larger island in the insular sea portion of the map (top left, under the honey island) can have random nature-changing mints on the ground that respawn daily which you can farm with the pokemon den time skip method - the forest of focus part of the isle not only has trees that drop apricorns but you can also find them on the ground there sometimes and there's like 5-6 locations in the forest where ladies in blue shirts can spawn who will sell you 4 apricorns for 100 watts so it could be a nice place to farm them with time skips - max mushrooms spawn after you finish raid battles and can mainly/only be found in the caves and in the forest on the isle. could be more to it than that but not 100% sure. some have said that you need to gmax/dmax in order for more to show up and that you need to do 3-4 raids, possibly specifically from the island but idk

Also, there are 3 types of the trade npc. one will show stuff in the dex, and that one stops showing up when you see everything. The blonde one will trade pokemon with you, the brown haired one will give you apricots. TBH, a bigger Easter egg is how the parents of the digging bros are on the isle. Another one is how different gym leaders will occasionally show up on the isle to offer banter. I had Piers show up multiple times to offer odd banter... my favorite being when he was by the sealine on a foggy day. He mentioned how he hates the water, but his sister loves the water. He even mentioned how she would start to cry about wanting to go swim.

So I haven't heard anyone talk about this yet and I think it's super cool. So for completing Mustard's trials, he gives you the choice of either a Bulbasaur or a Squirtle that are capable of Gigantimaxing. But if you look in the dojo at 1:26, you can see that there are three Pokemon sized beds, so we can assume that at one point Mustard also had a G-Max Charmander. Other than the player character, Leon is the only person to have ever completed Mustard's challenges. Therefore, we can assume that Leon's Charizard was actually a gift Pokemon from Mustard similarly to the Gift Bulbasaur or Squirlte given to the player character.

I finished the diglett sidequest the other day. Needed help with the last 20 that I just could not find. It was fun!

This is probably common knowledge but my friend wasn’t aware of this so I thought I’d mention it. On an island in the Workout Sea, you’ll find the Clear Lady, you pay her 10 of the Armorite Ore & she’ll clear a Pokémon’s stats for you. I’m sure many people already know this but thought I’d mention it just in case.

I like how people kinda oversee that the DIGLET quest 151 diglets I kinda think it’s a cool nod to 151 such as the kanto Pokédex which has 151 Pokémon

Worth noting that one of the vending machines that you upgrade the dojo with gives you access to all the EV training vitamins for half price.

I thought the fact that the Champion didn't want to come is kind of a lazy move on Gamefreak's behalf. In previous games they've put past champions. Also, Lance deadass battles Leon in the Pokemon anime so there's no way that it's "too far away." I think Game Freak was just too lazy to put them in tbh. Let's hope in Crown Tundra they'll add it in though.

You actually need that Kantonian/Alolan Slowpoke for the Isle of Armor Pokedex. You need it to get Slowking, which the Galarian form can only be found in Crown Tundra.

One more forgotten thing: if you get a zarude/dada zarude go to the scientist the one who updated ur pokedex make sure to equip zarude in ur party and talk the the scientist when talked you will get a partner cap

I wanna say that klara in the dlc on sword is from unova cus even looking at her league card says stuff about her story but most importantly of how she lives her life in images and it made me kinda guess she came from unova (virbank city)

I found out that if you bring a pokemn from pokemon home it does not register to the pokedex. But if you put it in the daycare and take it out again it wil register to the dex

However, one thing not many people are talking about is the black pikachu. Is it possible that the the gen 2 mons seen, specifically espeon, umbreon, and lugia + the black pikachu signify an XD remake (shadow pokemon)? If not, what does the black v yellow pikachu on either side of the screen mean for the lets go games? Perhaps let's go espeon and umbreon?

Not seeing a lot of people talking about this, so I thought I would mention it.
