You've inspired me! We live on a mini farm and are a bit isolated. I'm going to host an art page party for family and friends who might want to join me using your ideas as our basis. I love to create ... art and cooking. I'm envisioning a wonderful Saturday art-filled party with people I love. I'll show this video during appetizer hour at arrival. I'm in Houston, Texas USA and I had no plans for today. So I'm quietly watching this video as I drink a cup of coffee. All of your instructions on how to make these pages were crystal clear (no surprise there) but when you added that paint-splotched green piece of paper to that first page, my mouth dropped open. I've seen you do it multiple times, but it is always amazing to me to see the second your creation/vision comes alive. Everything just clicked in with that one little bit of paper. So now I'm grabbing my supplies and as soon as I finish watching the rest of this video, I will get to making these pages. TFS - stay safe out there and have a blessed week!

This video is the essence of Joie, I think. All the things you love and enjoy. Thanks for sharing. Always inspiring. I think this option is excellent for the person who doesn't have a "real" junk journal, or what most people would consider one to be. How fun to just make these pages and glue them into a composition book or anything repurposed, even another book. Less intimidating than working right on the final page. That first step is always the hardest when creating. In my opinion. Also, did you mention washi tape in the recent pod cast? If you didn't it certainly should be on your list of favorite ingredients. Hahaha Thanks for all you and your YT colleagues do.

Wow..well now this might just be the springboard for me to actually starr a junk journal!To see examples of all the terms like bellybands and tick spots was amazing...I couldnt even understand the terms before i watched!And to work systematically on 3 pages to just stick in a journal really yells out to me "Right..get started"!!

Great Idea, Joie! I just did my first page. I like the idea of a ready made collage page to have at hand. It's similar to having ready made decorative elements, only larger. 😊

I am so impressed, when I started watching I could not grasp how these elements were going to work together.... you surprised me. Thank you so much for reminding me what it means to make a collage. I use to love doing this when I was a child, I had forgotten how lovely the pages turn out if you pay attention to the lines.

Great idea to have a page ready to go into your journal. Love the addition of the water colour leaves and everything looks better with a Tracey label! I make cards and envelopes mostly. I didn't really know I enjoyed it until the year that changed everything, so now for almost two years, every piece of stationary or "pretty trash" gets saved. Your ideas are amazing. I am using several of your ideas tonight. I bought an old book from a thrift shop today.

I love your style, voice, mannerisms - you are such an inspiration! Question for you: maybe in the future, can you do a video showing how you add these pre-made pages to a journal or how you assemble them into a signature, etc? These are gorgeous Joie 😊 I’m always wowed by what you create from simple things and ideas. And because you use greens a lot and with the nature theme, your “aesthetic “ works for every season. You can just add different colours depending on the time of year. Love it. And those metallic paints are lush I need to get some 😄😊💕🦋

Phew I'm finally catching up with my videos! Great podcast btw 👏👏👏. Brilliant idea to have these ready and using basics and scraps! This is really handy for referring to when I'm stuck! I love that stamping that you wet and made 'leaky' 😍. Was just about to say I love that fella 🙊. You've also got me back into using my fountain pen. I'm having those paints once I use some stash up! Awesome ruler😍. Oh Joie my daughter and I have built a science around faffing🙊. It's called Faffology for those who have a 'faffalogical'urge to mess around!
