Hello Vinyl Community! Come THRIFT WITH ME as we thrift shop for vinyl records. Vinyl Record collecting on a budget in 2022. I'm taking YOU into the stores shopping for records WITH ME. You won't believe the great albums I find at Thrift Stores, Antique Stores, Flea Markets, etc. You'll be right there as we scour the countryside looking for places to buy vintage vinyl records! You'll be there as I find cool records, or even if I don't. I'll show you how to find places to find vintage vinyl records. I'll show you what to look for. How to thrift for records like a pro. How to find cool used vinyl records for a fraction of the price. Much cheaper than Discogs. Secondhand stores can be a great place to find records for much cheaper than online.

I applaud you for the brevity of this 7 minute video. *Inserting the large yellow artist/title at the bottom of the frame is smart communications.* I hope other KZfaq VC presenters of listicle presentations adopt this technique in their future videos. *Special thanks to those who list the records presented and include an intro time stamp alongside in the description field.*

I knew there was a good chance that someone would have some of the Bee Gees, because those are all foreign pressings...not rare...just foreign.

Killer soundtrack! The og is very pricey! If you didn't see the old video where i first got it, i pieced it together! That's how i was able to afford it! I found the back piece in a dollar bin! Then i found someone on discogs who had everything but the back piece for $40! So I'm into it for $41!

Yeah I'm afraid someone might have a couple of the ones i showed. I could show 100 more that no one has, but they're records that no one on their right mind would have...how to type...someone calling out bingo numbers...how to Morse code...foreign records...etc

That they live picture disc is amazing. Coolest picture disc I have of that type is the waxwork subscriber version of the Chud soundtrack on picture disc

Oh! Very cool! That They Live picture disc is pretty rare...i had to order it online, and even though i got it for a good price, it was still a lot of money.

@@VinylHunter btw thank you for turning me on to Lyman. I picked up Pele at a yard sale last Saturday. First press. A little splitting but the record is really clean and like new... very quiet. Mono version though. Edit to note... surprise. Sleeve an label read only Hifi... it is stereo and some of it very discreet. Marimba all the way on one side... piano on the other. Love mixes like that.

Good for you: show off your Bee Gees!!! I love the Kasongo. They Live was cool. Sick - Xenomorph!!! You had me until slaughterhouse…lol. I saw Andromeda Strain as an older kid…I bet the music is good. Thank you!!

Yeah a couple people said they had one of the Bee Gees records...they aren't necessarily rare...they were all foreign pressings

Hey! I actually have one of the Bee Gees album, the Impact label compilation of Australian tracks... But I'm French and Impact was a low-budget label of the 70's, you can find loads of their releases in French thrift stores and such. But I imagine that it's harder to find them on the other side of the Atlantic, like it's harder here to find some US pressings, I acquired last week a Monkees' Headquarter mono Colpix, I was overjoyed to pay 8€ for it (that would be about $8)...

Yeah, the BeeGees i showed aren't really rare, just foreign (to the US)...so, probably very common in their respective countries, but rare in the US.

That soundtrack to They Live record is just plain awesome! So is that Andromeda Strain record. I pretty much figured I wouldn't have anything that you would show on this, so I just steeled myself against any depressive states before playing the video. It worked! Instead of being depressed, I ended up being impressed. Great entry Tuco! Oh by the way, I picked up a copy of Roger Miller's Greatest Hits on Wednesday, pristine copy, clean jacket. I know there's about 2,000,000 different records called Roger Miller's Greatest Hits. This is only a fairly easy to find collection cat # SRS 67073 Canada pressing on Smash Records.
