the old music gives me a sense of comfort & peace I listen to Tiny Tim, Roger Miller, The Mills Brothers, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Roy Hamilton, Pink Floyd, AC DC Michael Jackson, Little Richard & finally Al Bowlly (please forgive me if I said that last name wrong) Edit: but back to the topic the only modern music that is still lucky to still be on my playlist for modern music is Juice WRLD & only Juice WRLD to me personally Is the modern perspective era he's the only guy I find intriguing to listen to, welp that's all folks I said all I can say & that's that I'll leave this comment only for the one's who understands this opinion Edit: I hope Tuco pins this comment cause I just feel like every need to know much of the old music is being so much lacked on old music needs to come back but like I said Tuco you have my up most respect for loving old music

My friend just let me dig though over 5000 Lps that were in his house. Our friend passed away over 15 years ago and this was his collection. I got over 150 metal albums most in the shrink wrap and olny played once! All of the Metal Blade, Combat, Meagforce, and Neat Records collections but a lot of other SUPER RARE stuff. I've sold about half already and made over $2300. I had NO IDEA those records could be worth so much!!

Good morning! I can see that there are still many great LPs left from the dig - especially the older R&R stuff! ...The Hombres LP is a great one! So is that hard to find Jon Lord solo LP! Never saw that cool Mollie Thompson LP - I just found a copy of the Vincent Lopez LP from the 1962 Seattle World's Fair called "Music Out Of Century 21" - has a way-cool cover featuring the Space Needle and semi-mod, space-age muzak inside! ...Another LP I've never seen was that Mel Taylor - definitely nice! ...and there's Buffalongo and Bedlam - I had those back in the day but forgot about them! ...I'm amazed that after all those people going through those LPs that there were still obscure killers in there! ...I just scored one yesterday that I had forgotten about: Curved Air, "Airconditioning"!

Hey T.U.C.O. what a beautiful bathroom suite I'm suprised you didn't take that 😅 can't say I've heard of Mollie Thompson but being here maybe it'll turn up (a bit like U.F.O.s?) - years ago i used to get this magazine called the Fortean Times, it was Charles Fort a Victorian started the idea collecting articles from anywhere about any strange unexplained phenomenon. That Jon Lord cover was very weird. Love a bit of not quite good art but twisted below average art school college work. I recently stumbled across a thrift, well messy record shop relatively near me in the wonderfully named Hemel Hempstead so I'll be going there as soon as i can especially as other places have dried up of late. OK take care. Martin.

Congrats on the amazing finds -- you've shown tons of records I've never seen before. The Psychedelic Shack era of the Temps was my favorite. One track on that album, War (Edwin Starr had the hit single), was big during my school years. Seems like every week we would learn about a classmate's older brother or cousin getting wounded or worse in Vietnam. So, obviously, songs like that made quite an impression.

Man the gift that keeps on giving! LoL! That Nervous Eaters album blows compared to their other stuff! I have a Fools album and there’s one song that I really dig called Alibi about this guy rushing home to his girl after a one night stand and he’s trying to come up with an alibi for where he’s been LoL! Pretty cool Power Pop stuff. Marketts Batman looks cool! Critters is also solid 60’s stuff Loved those Wayne Cochran biker covers Super cool! That Sharks has me intrigued I was actually holding a copy of it in my hands this weekend when I was out digging around so I’ll stream it and if it’s good I’ll grab it I think it was a cheap pick up. That Folky alien record looks pretty interesting too! Glad you’re still reaping the benefits of the DoaLT! Peace ☮️✌️👽🤘☮️

The TKO album features Brad Sinsel on lead vocals I believe. After TKO he joined a old friend of mine band Warbabies unfortunately they only did one album for Columbia records and were never given a chance to grow. They were dropped by the label. If you don't have the first and only Warbabies record you need to get it. Features two songs cowritten with Paul Stanley from KISS.

Cool finds TUCO! Hey, on that Twilight Zone LP, does it have the Bonnie Belcher "Come Wander with Me" song on it? I saw that Twilight Zone episode a few years ago and loved that song. I can't remember what year it was but the title of the episode was Come Wander with Me I'm pretty sure. And on the Rock and Roll Mount Rushmore, definitely Chuck Berry, they'd have to have Elvis (Chuck Berry was much more of the king of rock and roll though), Jimmy Page, and I'd really have to think a lot harder to figure out who the fourth head would be. Brian in Fort Worth 🎶

Yeah, Quad is a tricky thing....first, there really aren't a whole lot of quad releases to listen to....also, there are several quad formats, and certain quad receivers can only play certain quad formats. I think if you can get into it cheap, then it's fun to play around with...but i don't think it's really worth investing a lot of money into it.
