Also fun fact about Conjurers the can get a unicorn mount: When you get lvl 30 Conjurer, there's an npc in the conjurer's guild that will give you a side quest for the mount. I'll repeat ,THIS IS LVL 30+ CONJURER NOT WHITE MAGE! If you have the white mage soul stone on the quest won't be available, you have the take off the stone.

WHM was my starting class and remains one of my favorites. When I am feeling lazy, I go SCH so that Eos can do the heavy lifting, but WHM is best for the seriously damage doing end game fights.

Also Square Enix hasn’t really picked up on the fact that WHM is liked by both Men and Women. So if you’re a guy you will 100% end up just having to wear a casual glam or something boring because they refuse to make more masculine looks for WHM. Or at least a couple ambiguous glams that can work for both. They basically just expect the Male WHM to wear a dress in heals. Even the weapon glams are aggressively feminine more or less

I like WHM because it doesn't try to distract me with unnecessary class mechanics that feel like they were just put there to slow me down (looking at you, SGE). WHM hits you with a nice, focused package of big heals, surprisingly good damage, and some of the most satisfying AoE abilities in the game. It feels like the most consistent and reliable healer once everything comes together. WHM also has great animations, beautiful spell effects, and some absolutely gorgeous glams for the staff. I never would have thought it would be this satisfying to nuke things with flowers.

Was not expecting a 'final countdown' reference, but i enjoyed it. Also, if you want to talk about cursed weapons: omnirod.

Conjurer/WHM was my first class/job in FFXIV, and I still main it to this day. Love it :)

I've been playing WHM heavily during Heavensward and I'm extremely tempted to get back into the game at the moment. But up until yesterday, the last time I logged on was almost 8 years ago and to be honest I kinda forgot everything. Thanks to your video, it's all slowly coming back to me!

I started with white mage but after the first wipe in a dungeon I started to have panic when I have to play it, in fact now it's the job for one of my alt, because I like the white mage lore a lot so I don't want to abandon it completely. Anyway, about the elemental thing I don't know about the next caster job, but if I understood right at the beginning there was more enphasis on the 3 elements white mage uses (air/wind, earth and water) and it was cool, also it was cool that the other 3 (fire, tunder and ice) were black mage's elements.

I'm late to the healer party, I still don't prefer it because I don't like any responsibility LOL but when I do play the role, WHM is usually one of my first choices because of how simple it is. As with Summoner and others, idk why people complain about simpler jobs: there needs to be something for everyone and sometimes I just want to turn my brain off, come on!

7:56 has been my weapon since HW for WHM. I will never change it.

I've used those gloves in glams before. They are very nice and fit into almost any outfit.

I vastly prefer the look and playstyle of Sage as a healer, but WHM is the least stressful healer for me personally. I just make sure to stack group & individual regen on tank every so often for pulls or bosses. They have so many "oshit" quick heals too, for when you get too wrapped up in DPSing xD

Whm is truly a great class. While you may have to focus more on your mp usage compared to other healer classes especially when your under lvl 50 after that even tho the dungeons start getting more tougher you really get a lot of awesome moves that do require mp to heal like benediction which is the best healing ability for any healer imo that skill saved my team so many times and as long as you have a set strategy on how you heal rather than throwing your healing spells at random you’ll have nothing to worry bout even if your tank screws it up for u

WHM was the class I played to learn how to heal, both in FFXIV and in MMORPGs in general. It's still my main healer. Holy Spam is Best Spam.

I enjoy playing WHM, mainly because I feel comfortable playing 'how low can you go' with my tanks on WHM. With bene, up to three stacks of lilies, tetra, lilybell, two shields, etc, there's a lot you can do when your tank gets *just* low enough that he won't die, but, you're able to get some good damage in... And make your tank sweat *just a bit*. You gotta watch what you have left in your kit, and keep stock of what you've used if you're going to play the game though. Don't wanna have used up bene and two lilies and have your tank at 10%. Be smart about it. Am I a sadistic healer? Possibly. I mostly do this strategy with friends, or cocky tanks, though. Just gotta remind people sometimes, healers control life. That also means they control death, as well

Good reason to main this hlr:it restores fat stacks of HP instead of letting an NPC fairy auto heal or buffing yourself and then casting a HP restore pers second buff etc

Solution for healing wrong target: Make a macro for every spell to specifically target your focus target. Then set focus target to your tank at the start of the run. Now you don't have to keep manually switching targets to DPS or heal.

White Mage's transition from elementalist into Light Mage is very interesting, and thematically makes sense. White Mages at 70 or below are all about the Earth, Air and Water magic, with a dash of Light magic in Holy. With Shadowbringers, the land is just filled with Light and the story reasons, which in turn corrupts the Warrior of Light's connection to the other elements, making all their spells shift towards Light. We then see the spells slowly shift backwards towards the elements of the Source in Endwalker with Aquaveil and Liturgy of the Bell. I like to imagine Afflautus Misery being the Warrior of Light's soul screaming and holding out against the onslaught of Light and desperately clinging to any Darkness it can find; drawing out Darkness from those being healed by the other Afflautus spells, manifesting as the Blood Lily. Maybe this is just cope :D

probably the thing i hated the most was that glamours for whm were all robes. it was a running joke in my FC that when new gear came out the first words from the WHM and BLM were "so what new coloured robe do we get" Nicely though, lately their glamours have been FIRE! Still doesn't beat Ranged DPS glamours,

WHM main here, and I will forever love it! I have to admit that the accusations of it being the easiest healer by far are all true... but I love the holy healer aesthetic just way too much. All of the other healer archetypes just feel silly to me. WHM rocks that 'high priestess' vibe like no-one else can.

i play as a white mage for catharsis.. the other jobs just bore me. i feel more woken up and more alert when i am healing a party, as strange as that sounds, dps and dancer hardly interest me aside from monk, i swear any kind of dance beat works with that job
