Greater Sudbury is a city in Ontario, Canada. Near the Ramsey Lake waterfront, Science North is a museum with a planetarium and IMAX cinema. Part of the museum, the Dynamic Earth science centre is home to a giant replica of a 1951 Canadian nickel.

As a Sudburian, a key reason we love it here is that pretty much everyone is within walking distance to a lake, not just for swimming or boating, but good fishing. The Big Nickel is kind of a joke to most who've been here for generations.

Interesting to see a tourist video on Sudbury. I actually live in Onaping lol (btw it is pronounced (On-ap-ing). You asked for other reasons here is a quick list: - Snowmobiling - Larry Berrio on the Sandbanks concert (free concert that is played on a barge in the water put on every year by Larry Berrio and is boat access only) - Crown Land, we have an abundant amount of crown land as you head into the outskirts which is great for boondock camping, off trail snowmobiling (if we get enough snow), and access to tonnes of lakes -Costco! lol, to someone south this may sound hilarious but we are the only Northern city with a costco so we get people traveling from all surrounding cities for just that.

One time I accidentally broke a display case at science north and it was like a beaver tail or something and I ripped it🤐 nobody knew and I put it in my pocket. And one time at dynamic earth my whole class was on the big slide at once and I was at the back because I’m always last😐
