As a resident f Newburgh, NY: The Walkway over the Hudson includes a loop path that visitors can walk across the Walkway , through the town and back across another bridge, so you can leave your car and not just walk back across the walkway. The State Museum is really good and I believe it is free for NY residents, not sure though. Never been to the Lyndhurst , so thanks for that. However, also check out the Vanderbuilt Mansion and many others. For Revolutionary War buffs visit the New Windsor Cantonment. There is also The Museum of the Purple Heart nearby. Visit George Washington's Headquarters in Newburgh. There's probably hundreds of historical mansions that I have been to. I think all our bridges have walkways on them but you share with vehicles so it can be unnerving for some but the views are amazing. I am a member of Storm King and it is really a great time. They change some of their exhibits, so you can see different works of art when you go back. There is so much to do. The creator of this video had to pick some of the highlights and he did a great job. Hiking is great, fishing is great, hunting, art, history. Tons of stuff is free or very inexpensive and the food is great.

Looks like a wonderful place Leonard! Sorry I haven't been around much lately but thr tornado 😳 🌪 here kind of messed up things. Thank goodness things are getting back to normal. It will be a long time before everything is cleaned up and rebuilt. Luckily I didn't have any damage to my Townhouse! But the community is a mess. Have a wonderful day and Keep Spinning and Winning!

Wow! Good thing your townhouse is ok. How long do you think it will be before things get back to normal?

@leonardsheatravel I was lucky! We have had 100s of people volunteering to help clean up all around the city. Things are shaping up, but it will be at least a year, maybe more, for some people. They have actually put a new roof on the building next door over the weekend, and they are almost dome. Major businesses have been destroyed by the tornado and may take a year or two to rebuild if they do. A brand new Fed Ex distribution center had just opened last year and will now have to be rebuilt from the ground up. So it is going to be a while. Many homes damaged too. Lots of business in construction to be had here! We will all Keep Spinning and Winning! Cheers...

For this two-year Venetian, it's the cleanliness, the beach, the restaurants and just about everything except for Hurricane Ian. Still, I did get off a week from work because of it so six-of-one-half-a-dozen-the-other. I lived in NY and NJ for sixty years and necessity sent me to Massachusetts for 7 months and then Venice, Florida permanently and I couldn't have wished for a better end location.

Hi! My boyfriend and I (26/28) want to go to Spain at the end of September. we love a beach holiday with an old center a short walk away. Now we were thinking about Nerja or Estapona, but we are unsure whether it is too small for 2 weeks. we like to have a old town with a lot of restaurants/shops and exploring the area. Do you think Nerja is a good base for 2 weeks or is it too small? 🌸🌼
@leonardsheatravel4 күн бұрын
Hi there! Nerja is small but so beautiful. The old town and balcony of Europe is very good. Estepona is bigger with more infastructure but not as quaint and beautiful but it does have a good old town and is so close to places like Malaga, Rhonda, Marbella, Gibraltar, Torremolinos and more. Nerja is smaller and quainter and quiet and awesome. If you are looking to explore great cities within an hour of Estepona you have many options. Nerja is on the East side of Malaga and smaller and few places to visit but still good. That is a really tough question.....I spent a week in both a few months ago. What about 4 days in Nerja and the rest in Estepona. Best of both worlds and then you can come to your own conclusion???????
@leonardsheatravel4 күн бұрын
Frigiliana is close to Nerja and also a quaint stunning place like Nerja if you are looking for a day trip......You ask tough (gooD) questions.....hehehehe Good luck. I'd like to know which you chose and your conclusions.

I ate at every restaurant at least twice and enjoyed them. I signed up or reserved a table at the restaurants every night I did not go to Flavours Buffet so I cannot comment on Flavours. The beach stations are also good. Everyday when I rented a Bali bed I would have snacks or meals at the beach for lunch and mid afternoon snack. They also had special days when they made Paella or did a pig roast.
