If I want decor, I'll stay at home. No decor in the motorhome or camper. That is something we never did. Space is at a premium in the camping world decor just takes up much needed space.

My philosophy is that unless it provides a service or function, it doesn’t belong. IF what you do buy can **also** provide a decorative touch while providing a function, that’s a plus.

The non adjustable water pressure regulator you nixed is fine depending on your use case. I have a class B van and never hookup to city water, I just fill the tank and use it via the water pump in the van. That's how lots of class B RVers use water.

Water pressure regulators don't work if they freeze. Even after they thaw. I had 2 adjustable regulators and they both stopped working after freezing. Advice: take them off for the night and reconnect the water in the morning after it warms above freezing.

someone i worked with used to be a fedex driver. one of his craziest stories did not really involve anyone else but himself and a bottle of wine that was poorly packaged. he had to slam on his brakes and a bottle of wine went flying from the back, hit the dashboard and rolled out of the open door. nothing broke, nothing cracked

Agree with you on most things but disagree on others. My Corelle dishes have logged thousands of miles without a crack. And, it may be controversial, but we like our coffee in real mugs. Just store them in the cabinet between other items that keep them from banging around. Decor, on the other hand, is always secured just like you said. Keep up with the helpful hints!

my parents bought a full corelle dinnerware set in the 90s, just before i was born. in all that time, i can only remember 2 of them getting broken on two different occasions, but i only remember one of them really well - a large, heavy pot fell on one of the bowls and cracked it. the bowls and plates are still around though, im not sure about the cups

Zero gravity chairs work well for us - relaxing in our outdoor space! We do have a couple "bag chairs", one being a "love seat"/double, which is great for campfires, etc. Regarding tools, I do carry 1 LARGE one, an electric impact driver. Need that to get tire lugs off, since we do carry a spare tire, based on remote places we like to travel. And yes, no "glass"/ceramic plates or mugs, with 1 exception.... 2 small glass pyrex dishes for use in the microwave.

After RV’ing since ‘93 with basic outside folding chairs I discovered zero gravity chairs! I bought two on Amazon Black Friday sale, hubby quickly claimed they were too bulky. Soooo since I WANTED one we settled on one Zero Gravity chair and two easy folding chairs, but guess who is ALWAYS taking MY chair?😂 So I share🤷‍♀️❤️❤️❤️ Fully agree on most all your tips, except I hate drinking out of plastic so we still have a few ceramic mugs, and I like Corelle dishes (though we sometimes use paper plates). I have a bin where I can STAND the plates on end with a paper plate in between and all the other items bowls etc are in one bin. We also took out one of the arm chairs from our rig because we don’t use them both! And the fold out bed, ,, don’t use it either so we took the frame out and hubby built a frame for the couch cushions so I have great storage under there! We have always used the Camco filter and after one time with a water flood we have a pressure regulator like your’s. See? 👍Old dogs can learn new tricks😂

I pretty much agree with everything you said. However, I’m on my third adjustable water pressure regulator this year. I keep two of the non-adjustable junkie ones as back ups. You didn’t discuss plates; I know a lot of people use Corel but that can still break. I switched over to wheat straw which is extremely lightweight and not a toxic type of plastic. I love the Camco evo hose. It’s very soft and pliable. Thank you for all your helpful videos.

Our lessons learned from owning a boat. If you can drop it and not break it. it's a keeper. Small and multipurpose is good. We do have a water restrictor like you showed. Its problem for us is if someone is taking a shower and someone turns on the cold water in the kitchen. You got whoever is in the shower. I may need to upgrade.

What micron rating is the camco? I use an inline 20 to a .05 frizzlife to a water softner. I believe in stopping impurities as much as possible. It saves on my water heater clean out so much. Last clean out was 0 calcium deposits after 1 year. Showering is awesome with soft water too.

I use the non-adjustable water pressure, (do have an adjustable one for back up, from big rig days) but non adjustable one is quick n simple, n use the oxygenics fury shower head, having a quick shower anyway, water comes out fine. I think it's a more noticeable restriction thing on big rigs vs say a truck camper n small travel trailer. 🍻

Well, I agreed with you all up to the last point. lol, yes we ditched our zero gravity chairs and replaced bit bulky items for smaller versions. We also use a Berkey for our drinking water so no plastic here. But I will not give up my china, crystal, ceramic or glass items. And because I use felt sheets in some places and the drying grass rack (think baby bottle drying) we have not had an issue in 4 years of rving. A lot of YT channels add a small click like & subscribe animation somewhere in their videos at the bottom of the screen. Frankly the only thing the banana slicer is useful for is the thousands of hysterically funny reviews on Amazon. But the one unitasker I adamantly insist on is . . . a corkscrew! Don't leave home without it! I fully agree on the water filters and hoses. People go nuts worrying about drinking water. Even the worst water in the US is far and away better than 90% of the world. How are we the same generation that grew up drinking from a public fountain or garden hose? And cheap hoses . . ugh. I had a couple Wal-Mart hoses I used here at the house for filling the fresh tank. Coiling those things was like trying to coil up an angry, epileptic cobra. However, we've always stuck with non-adjustable pressure regulators. I've seen too many adjustable ones fail. 45 PSI is 45 PSI. I might buy a new one ever 3-4 years but they are inexpensive and no moving parts. And funny you removed your zero gravity chairs. For 13 years we camped with plain old bag chairs. We still have them for easy of carry, etc. But 2 years ago I added a zero gravity chair. I'm not sure how I ever got along without it and the naps I've taken have made it some of the best camping money I've ever spent. If push came to shove I'd remove our generator to make room for it if I had to! And i've never figured out why people feel the need to carry a flock of plastic flamingoes everywhere along with a fake palm tree, gazebo, etc. I'd add something to the list as well. Like you, I know we are in the minority on this, but I have never seen the need or purpose for a giant piece of outdoor carpeting. I can't even imagine packing that up after a rainy trip or where you'd carry it. The dirt saved from entering the interior of the RV would wind up somewhere in the RV when you pack it up.

I disagree about the waffle maker. I had one of those little single makers. It takes most waffle makers about 5 minutes to cook a waffle. You have a family of 4 so 40 minutes to make everyone two waffles. Other than that a bunch of good info. Thanks

Disagree about the toilet paper. I used Costco's Charmin Ultrasoft toilet paper and it got stuck in my cassette toilet and I had a difficult time getting it out because it didn't dissolve.

What is junk in an RV? Everything from the front bumper to the rear bumper, roof to under tires and outside wall to outside wall.

This is all common sense stuff to me, but I've been full time RVing since 2016.

If you are living in an RV full time that's one thing but taking an RV ""camping"" is not camping, you are just taking a small $50K-$250K house with you. If you really want to camp, you can leave behind 95% of the stuff you have in the RV and the RV.

When it comes to teasing an item several times trying to generate interest, just don’t. Please. I told myself if you did it one more time I was dumping out of the video. Thankfully you got to it next. Cringy.
