Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken the most recent animated movie of Dreamworks, ruby gillman, teenage kraken tells us the story of ruby gillman, a 16 year old who is very akward and is trying to fit in her high school, oceanside high, but she feels invisible among her classmates in the dreamworks rubby gillman, teenage kraken official trailer.

...Am I the only one that picks on the reference to Megamind? When the students say, "I love you!!!" and the mermaid is like, "And I love you too random stranger!" X,D Just like the hero Metroman in that iconic movie!

Am i the only one to notice the blähaj on 6:58 ?If u don't know what a blähaj is,it's basically a ikea shark plushie that has been trending on the internet becus of how cute it is.I love the fact that they put it here,but its make sense, Ruby likes cute things and the blähaj is a shark.

Blähaj is actually Swedish I don't really know exactly what it means but Haj is Swedish for shark IKEA is actually a Swedish company so that's why it sounds so weird Å,ä and ö are a part of the Swedish alfabet but you don't have those that is why English people often have a hard time making those sounds

I don't care for the evil mermaid/siren roots, but I am happy to see a new take on humanoid octopi seen as good, even if they don't always have six legs. I hope we see them walk on land. As I'm curious to see what the animation would look like. You could view sirens and mermaids as alternate races with one being good and the other bad. Did you know the term for an octopus mermaid is a "cecealia"? While nothing will ever be quite like WALL.E, I am very excited to see this movie. =] Great video!

It technically is different and original, luca is about sea creatures fear of humans teenage kraken is about ruby living with humans wanting to fit in but are big bad the mermaid giving the kraken a bad name
