Forgive him; he may have traumas inside him from before, maybe childhood. Allow yourself not to respond to each complaint, and try to see his good and great sides that everyone has been given, but have forgotten. Uplift him when he is sulking for the sake of Allah, and find more ways to give Charity/sadaqah in his name. Listen to his body language, and find ways to make him appreciate life and himself-sometimes super-intelligent people have depressive tendencies that they don’t mean to take out on their loved ones. Also, human nature is such that we tend to hurt the ones we love the most, so we might be detached from excessive interactions until the positive moments occur. Just some thoughts from an elder. ♥️
