1) Acknowledge others with a friendly hello. 2) Look people in the eye when you speak with them. 3) Respect your elders. Let other people take your seat, before you in the line. 4) Hold the door open for the person behind you, regardless of gender. Within a few steps. 5) Laid back and enjoy life. It’s not fast like NY. 6) Fridays are usually for going out to eat. Fried Fish and Grits is popular. As is cabbage and corn beef hash. 7) Thick women are popular. 8) Flip flops and socks are popular. 9) Mote conservative. Not very outspoken. More discretion. And Bless your heart is an insult. 10) Don’t stand right in front of the door. Take 2 steps back to give people space to see you when you aren’t invited. The porch is an extension of the living room.

Hello, I'm Southern I have been up North for a while and being up here you will look crazy saying hello and good morning because you will not get a response, I think that when I retire it will be in the South where people are more real and human, and a little more helpful when you have a problem. Omg those northeners are live fast die young people. And alot of Southern people moved to the south and became California cool because of the southern people. We love to take it easy and move slow

Wow. I was raised in the South, but spent most of my adult life elsewhere. Shame on me. I need to brush up on my Southern etiquette! Thank y'all for reminding me of my raisin'. I wish you were my neighbors and friends.

9:48 this is why I have trust issues, just say what’s on your mind! I know it’ll hurt at first but at least you’re not wandering around thinking this person likes me when in reality they’re talking behind my back! It’s foolish!
