Today im revealing the top 10 sneaker ive lost the most amount of money on for their current price. The are some of the most expensive sneakers i own that are now worth way less than what i paid.
Sneakers on the list are Jordan 1 Dark Marina, Jordan 1 Palomino, Yeezy Foam Runner, Jordan 1 Chicago & a Bunch more.

@MomoUraKinRyu100 depending the country it could be a tax write off. In the US the shoes would be inventory until he actually sells it, then on the sale, the loss would become a tax write off.

No in US as a self employed person it is a necessary and proper business expense write off reported as "other expense" generally. Not inventory bc the operation type of "business" is not selling@@pvp2016

Rounding, these “losses” don’t count for money made back from the videos themselves but not counting for that, if you take the average annual gross income of $208750, a $4k loss is only a single weeks gross income. Not too bad.

I knew this list would consist of most 1s and Yeezys. Biggest regret buying the FOG1 noirs on release day. I paid $600. If I would have waited 2 months I could have grabbed them for $400. I’m usually patient wen it comes to shoes so I don’t have any horror stories more learning moments

I managed to cop the L&F at £145 retail from wait for it………..Offspring of all places. To this day I’ve no idea how. And to this day I’ve not even taken them out the box 😂

I own two pairs of shoes. A $30 pair of Nike running shoes and $100 dollar Jordan 1 mid. I love all of these shoes, and I especially want the born and raised dunks, they’re really nice.

we've all suffered L's on some shoes whether on a trade or paying resell. The market as it currently stands is on a downturn. maybe the demand picks up during the holiday season since people will be looking for gifts.

It's all relative isn't it. Like there are a few pairs I paid resell for and I set a limit on what I think a shoes value is to me personally but the thing is, not once have I ever seen them as investments. I haven't got a pair I haven't worn at least once. I just don't see them as anything other than things that look cool to me and I like matching colours with my clothing if I can. I like having choices and options with all my clothing and shoes is no different. But not one of these things that I own do I see as investments as losses to me.
