There is another, lesser known theory: Peridot is the gem equivalent of an asexual (hence why she is the only Crystal Gem other than Bismuth to not have fused). Awestruck Vox did a video on this theory, and honestly its one of my favorite SU theories. Peridot understands fusion, can see why others would want to fuse and accepts others that fuse, but doesn't want to fuse with anyone else. It has not been directly confirmed by Rebecca Sugar or any one else in the Crewniverse, but some episodes (specifically Log Date 7112) drop some major hints. If it is true, than its one of the best representations of asexuality I've ever seen.

I think the villain is the lemon jade fusion from diamond days,not Saddie. I thinks shes sad because shes wasn't rescued by Steven or anyone.So when shes back ,she wanted to revenge . She steal the powerful gem that have powers and made her into another form. I still think that the Steven Universe universe has some potential in a prequel series. Something that can take place during the 1000 year gem war, chronicling the major events and possibly revealing to us what was inside that chest. Pearl actually doesn't seem to be an ordinary pearl, she may be dead or broken gems put together and make her. Not much of her colours actually match, she has pale skin and blue eyes, not much of her outfit match's, as you can see most if the gems have a certain colour and their whole body is just different shades of the same colour, but pearl isn't colored like that's. There was even an episode about how she doesn't know what or who she is because of he being a fusion, that's just a theory, a gaaame the-nevermind.
