I was on a tour of Greece and Turkey - to make it perfectly clear, I wasn't there to meet a man. This younger Australian guy on the trip was really outgoing, talking and joking with everyone. We just enjoyed each other's company even, by happenstance, spending the day walking around Mykonos with its beautiful windmills; it was great fun, with him helping me pick out some earrings, and eating gyros. Another day, he tried to get me to sneak into a higher-class ferry room with him; I declined because it didn't feel right. Another morning, he bought pieces of baklava to share with me. Then another morning, when I was too late for breakfast, he got the kitchen staff to give him a cup of coffee for me. I didn't think anything of these gestures because, as I said before, he was tremendously outgoing so I just thought he was being friendly. Eventually, the tour ended and his plane left before mine. I gave him a hug and said good-bye. About two days later, my phone rang and it's him. I said, "Hello, What are you up to?" He says he has to fly to England for the cricket season and he'd like to stop in to see me. I thought, "OK, why not?" We talked several times before he flew over and it was then I found out how he felt about me, how much he wanted to kiss me and hold me, how sad he was on the flight home to Australia after he left me in Greece. I had NO CLUE! Well, needless to say, he never left. We've been married for 11 years now, and he still makes fun of me for being so 'naive' about not knowing he was into me. Sometimes I wish I'd have known but then again, we started as friends and I think that's why we are still together. Otherwise, it could have just been a holiday fling!

the thing is, whether they are attracted to you because of your looks or personality, those attributes change and even if they don't change, the person's perception changes once they are around you for long enough whether if its for the positive lr the negative. Looks can last decades older than personality because think about it, when you meet someone for the first time, you are not really meeting them, a lot of people say "you meet their representative" and it could not be any more true. There is this teacher i had last week, and he made eye contact with me almost the whole time we were in the same room. At first i thought he just likes to intensely look people into the eyes. I never catched him looking at my body. I was so intrigued by his watching, that i tried to get into conversations with him. I realized he was trying to stay as professional as possible, but also touched my shoulder as a sign the conversation is over(i guess). When something fell out of his hands, or smth fell over, he looked at me, but said nothing. I shook my head and didn't even realize i was even doing that. He then said, that i should probably get back to work, and i responded with "yeah, that might be better". I brushed my arm against him as i was walking past him. The next time, he did that as well, and also kept very close to me when showing something. To the others, he kept a way bigger distance and told people not to touch his stuff, or get further away from him. Nothing happened, but he said i can always visit him in his class/atelier.
