All good. The only exception I’d make, 4000+ hrs on DayZ, is that I eat fruit and mushrooms as I find them, and as soon as my food has dropped between white and yellow, I eat again to top it up. I always keep 10 water purification tablets on me, (found in deer stands), and drink as soon as my water has dropped between white and yellow. Doing both of the above helps to stop you getting ill. All of my medicine and matches goes into a 20 slot dry bag, or a protective case. I will also disinfect my sewing kits to use as an alternative to bandages and keep my iodine / disinfectant topped up whenever I find half empty bottles around the map

I miss when you could craft an improvised bow. Way back in the day.

eating to full is good later on, lots of extra to sprint, good immune system, fast blood regen. if you travel light you can cook a big animal or a pack of wolves, eat it all and you're set for hours

Hello Tin. :-) Additional good tip for ~2:00 "Snare trap": You can even use rotten fruits or vegetables, which you typically won't want to eat yourself. But please recheck this tip on official servers (since I'm mostly playing modded servers), if you plan on publishing it in the future.

Helloooooooooo!! Duct tape is also a sewing kit in a pinch to repair anything the sewing kit does. Crossbow requires epoxy to be repaired, so if anyone finds one (I find 1-3 every adventure in Novo in the top floors) that’s how to repair them. Taking vitamins before eating anything, raises your immune system to max, so enjoy those cans of unknown food!!

You can use a screw driver and wrench for smallstones
