Hawaii is the only State that doesn't have a Texas Roadhouse. There are two locations in Alaska. I used to work for the company. I've eaten at the original location in Indiana, its in a mall of all places.

@@jeffscroggins3499 yes I’m well aware the original location is still at the mall. I went there about 5 years ago. I’ve also eaten at the second location in Gainesville Florida. I worked for the company for two years and have had many customers ask if the restaurant started in Texas. I would just tell them no it started in Indiana and the corporate headquarters is in Kentucky. Lol

I have been to different TR’s all over the Midwest, service has always been fast and friendly and the food great. I so appreciate you can get smaller 6 oz and 8 oz steaks. After eating the rolls and the peanuts, and then with the two sides you get with the meal, I still am stuffed with a smaller steak. And the prices are so reasonable. Love this place!

Texas Roadhouse is truly the only restaurant I can think of which every one of my family and friends loves. Even the picky ones. The value is great, the rolls and honey butter are amazing and even the steak sauce is special.

The only thing I learned from three months of working there was how to pick hairy mold off the tomato’s. On my first day, I was shocked by exposed wires hanging out of the walk in freezer.

I would have quit on the spot if I saw bare wires. I can understand food spoiling but working in a safe workplace is not only dangerous it's the law. Anyone who has ever eaten fresh fruits and vegetables know that they are seceptible to spoiling and sometimes faster than expected.

Fun fact, we'll actually cook you a steak you picked out of the meat case. They're not just for decoration. We'll also cut you a custom sized steak as well. We won't cut smaller than what's on the menu, nor a size in-between the listed menu cuts, but we will cut bigger. For example: we have a 6oz filet and a 8oz filet on the menu. We won't cut you a 5oz or a 7oz, but we will cut you a 9oz. Less psychological warfare and more simple suggestions lol. Basically we're taught to switch out certain words because some words have different connotations. When ordering the roadkill. You HAVE to ask for Brown gravy on top. Trust me. It's one of my favorites tbh

i discovered TR like in 2009.....wear were you before ??? Oh well...love it..king prime rib is all i eat and all the rest...was traveling 60ty round trip every month or so...now its twice now since i moved..I cant eat the peanuts no more..to old...lol...but the blooming onion is fantastic...and wow do they sing happy birthday so nice....

The (non) lunch schedule was implemented because the company can't compete with it's menu and service for weekday lunch. And that's NOT an insult. Quality food and good service don't make the cut for weekday lunch specials. They have to get you fed and out the door in under 30 minutes (1 hour lunch minus travel time to and from) they won't make any money on alcohol, and their lunch specials have to be under $10 including tax, tip and soft drink. Which waitress/waiter wants to work a lunch special where there has to be enough wait staff to get people in and out in under 30 minutes? Low priced menu items, low tips and having less tables to serve. So...run your @ss off for a 90 minute lunch rush and get $6 in tips. Oh, where do I sign up?

Plus it's a lot harder on the prep teams to do everything fresh when you are open for lunch. And when the company that is only open for dinner makes just as much as all the other chains do being open for lunch, why would you want to waste the payroll?

Pretty much yes. You can request your steak to not be cooked with it, and some of the sides aren't but a lot of them contain ham base or bacon grease.

They need to open for lunch. I'd go there a lot more often if they did and I'm sure I'm not alone. Mine only opens one hour earlier on the weekend 2 PM instead of 3 PM. Needs to open at 11 AM every day.

They wouldn't be able to do everything fresh in house if they were open for lunch everyday. It's hard enough on the weekend as it is and you can kind of build up to that a little.

Longhorn Steakhouse uses frozen pre packaged steaks while Texas roadhouse cute thier own steaks. Texas Roadhouse steaks are much better than other national chain restaurants seeing they use frozen pre packaged steaks.

Had a really overcooked steak and sent it back. By the time I got a new one my sides were cold. Lousy meal. I complained on their website and they said to call their customer service which I did. Customer service said they would send a voucher for $40. I never got it. I mentioned that on their website but never heard from them again. Oh, well, I like Longhorn better anyway.

Hawaii is the only state that does not have a Texas Roadhouse I love my Texas Roadhouse I will go to the nearest one if necessary but prefer the one in Deer Park New York it has the best steaks never tasted a better steak than I did at Texas roadhouse I love Texas roadhouse.

No bottomless chips at my Texas Roadhouse. But we always make sure we have one of the margaritas I have the app on my phone and I’m looking forward to my birthday dinner

The Roadhouse in my city is struggling because of how bad management and co-ownership is so, everytime I go I have to hear sorry our server or line cook(s) are new everytime. The only reason why it seem it gets business is for its name. Rather go to a small smokehouse with real smoked meat.

We love Texas Roadhouse. Please build one in Lake Havasu City Az. Our Daughter moved to Texas, first visit you had us. Our town night seem small but we are a vacation hot spot. All winter we are busting at the seams with snow birds. Summers are crazy here, this town has the best marketing program I’ve seen. Thanks for your time Buck and Cathie Mau LHC Az. 86404
