I decided to go iOS when there was only, and still is, 3 phones with 4.3 inch display with good specs. For Android it was Xiaomi Mi2s and Sony Z1 compact and ... iPhone 5s. When small beast of SE arrived I decided to use it after my Xiaomi one (callers had really big difficulty to hear me - tried everything software, hardware based ). And many other people choose iPhones for real compact factor, not Apple logo.
