I have had two Citi cards for years and I have maxed them out and paid them off and maxed them out again. Currently they are both at zero. I have never had a problem with them ever.

I have the Custom Cash currently. While it helps for public transit, I do not like the fact that it lacks Travel Protections Travel Protections only exsist via the Costco Visa for $60 or $120 via Annual Membership and the American Airlines Executive Card for $595 a year.

Would the no sign-up bonus kick in if you got a sign-up bonus on the Custom Cash card about a year ago and are looking to apply for the Citi Premier in the near future? I’m hoping to apply for the Citi Premier if the offer goes back up to 80k. I have a feeling it may go back up to that in the fall, 🤞🏾

Citibank blacklists you for over 10 years if you have burned them in the past. Citibank has the memory of an elephant.

@@vsucountryboy I don't but a lot of people who visit this channel are trying to rebuild their credit and it is a good idea to know the potential risks in applying for a card. If you burned Citibank in the past then it might be a good idea not to waste a hard pull on a credit application.

Well only use certain cards for certain purchases. It reasonable why citi would not like you to use your card through applepay. Because its more likely for people to take your information

I was never pre-qualified for any Citi card? Yet I applied for my first Citi Card which was the Double Cash 1.5 years ago and just 2 months ago the Costco visa with a whopping 6k limit. I was surprised cause my Double Cash only has 1,600 as it was one of my few first cards on my file with NO increases. Note. It’s little to almost impossible to get a Citi CLI even when submitting it and I spend it on my mom’s and my phone bill at $288 a month and used to use it for my subscriptions before I got the Apple Card up to $50+ a month. This was on my Citi Double Cash and yet I was not able to get a CLI and so I was SHOCKED when getting the Citi Costco Visa at 6K cl.

That is interesting. You have had a tough time getting a credit limit increase. I have had the Costco card for four years now and it started at 5000. Then was 7000. Then 14,000 and now 15,000. I just applied for the custom cash card and was given a 5300. CL

Where are you getting this info on the 24 month family rule? I was approved for an American Airlines MileUp a couple weeks before I was approved for the American Airlines Plat Select and have earned both SUBs. I read the SUB terms for the AA cards and both the Double Cash and Custom Cash and all cards only call out a 48 month SUB waiting period for that exact same card. They don’t say anything about the other cards that earn the same rewards currency.

That’s actually run by a totally separate Citi retail division, not Citibank credit.

That APP shouldn't be named "Kudos".... There's already an App by that name, and it's an INC. under that name, and the name for that app fits what's it's named. This name/app is NOT a proper fit. And, no Android version of the APP yet... Only Apple.

It is easier to get the Citi Double Cash and after 1 year you can change to the Citi Custom Cash and you can go back and forth through each card (within reason) if you wanted.

I got my CustomCash bonus on or about April 2022, and I got the Premier bonus on January or February this year (21-22 months). How comes? (Great video, by the way!)

The info he has on this is wrong. If you go to their website and look at the additional information on the card it’ll say you can’t receive a bonus if you e received one in the past 48 months
