My 2003 F150 FX4 5.4 2V Extended cab is built like a tank. Motor is bullet proof. I got it at 20k miles. Has 150k miles on it and never broken down, ever!

How do you install that front light bar and does it come with some type of switch for inside the truck to turn it on?

It come with two brackets that go on each side and I found a spot behind the bumper on each side and drilled holes into the metal pieces on the truck then bolted down the light bar with the supplied screws. It came with a harness, relay and switch so I could wire it to the battery and have power then mounted the switch inside the truck on the dash

Ive never been a fan of the way the 10th gens look. I have a 2018 xlt, and i bought it specifically because of the yr and trim. These 10th gens are very reliable and tough though. Just, idk why but i dislike how rounded the body is. But yours is certainly better looking than some of the ones ive seen before. I remember you couldnt go anywhere without seeing several of these. Now i cant tell you when the last time was that i saw one.

Thanks and while I agree they are reliable and tough, they’re not exactly everyone’s cup of tea. The 2018 is a sleek looking truck I admit I have looked into some recently but haven’t went through with a purchase. My dad bought a 2016 a few years back that I’m quite fond of as well. Some people I know own 10th Gens in the many configurations but as far as elsewhere I don’t see as many around anymore as well

That lamp in prolonged use will cause damage to the automatic transmission fluid I had to remove it in my truck

Could you explain a little further? I'm not sure what lamp u mean and that sounds like an issue I do not want to encounter.
