I've been slowly getting into femininity now that I'm trying to not be so introverted. Altho I'm covered in tattoos, and basically a tomboy, this stuff is pretty fun and I'm enjoying learning it and it feels good to look pretty. Slowly but surely I'm getting there lol this is good stuff here thank you 🙂

there is no "rule" to femininity. this woman just came up with ideas of her own thoughts and created a video because this is her job. you can be feminine and an introverted, tattooed, tomboy. femininity is whatever makes YOU feel best about yourself as a woman, and if it's listening to this woman, then all the power to you

I once attended a party where I had my natural eyebrow shape, lightly trimmed, neatly brushed, and lightly pencilled in in my natural brow color. Messing too much with my brows irritates my skin. The host and some of the women guests who were supposedly my 'friends' at my table made fun of me at length for not sporting the thick, dark, and sharp 2016 Instagram eyebrows that they did. After that party I stopped talking to them up to now. There is no reason to maintain ties with anyone who ridicules anyone, publicly and otherwise, for their appearance.

They are not your friends and I bet your brows are lovely 💛. I hate the harsh, painted Instagram look that just ages young women. Well, all women, but it's mostly young women who fall for this ridiculous look. It doesn't make anyone beautiful, it just looks awful. I have a younger colleague at work who insists on having this look and as a bit "older" (and wiser) I can only tell her my opinion. She still doesn't get it though.

I believe there's nothing wrong with having strong eyebrows. Personally, my brows have always been black and quite thick naturally. However, while I do trim them, I never take away from the thickness. On the same note, I don't have the need to add any products on my brows, because I feel like they suit me just the way they are. My natural brows are possibly the best, unique, strong feature on my face, and they're going to stay.

I've been coloring my hair for years and also study color theory/color analysis. Not everyone looks good with ash blonde hair. In fact, if you have warm undertones, you might actually look better with the orange/copper look. Of course you should still visit the salon and get a toner every 6-8 weeks to freshen it up. It is worth it to pay for a professional color analysis - they advise you on wardrobe, makeup, and hair. I use to hate the color mustard, but then saw how stunning it looked on me when a professional showed me.

For the "smell topic", it really depends on your culture, in some country like Japan, a good smell is no smell. When you are perfumed, it is considered as, sorfy tu put it like that, "stinking". As someone with a really good sense of smell, i really relate to it. Someone overly perfumed can be as uncomfortable for me as someone smelling sweat. So...stay light in this area. A good amount is when ppl have to be close to you, (a few inches) to smell your perfume in my opinion.

I don't think she has bad intentions and I think that her advice can prove helpful in certain situations (looking for a job etc), but life is too short to always strike for perfection. My go to happens to be casual timeless with 90ies influence… yes, I’m a 42 year old that wears old concert and band tees 😊. I watch Anna’s videos off and on and was convinced it was satire at first. There is a disconnect because she comes across judgemental and prejudiced which opposes a truly elegant, timeless, graceful person. Grace is kindness/compassion. This was spot on Anna! The perfume part; I like to buy organic perfumes with essential oils. Sometimes they can smell musky but I go for ones that have a light flowery smell, especially if it has honeysuckle or ylang ylang is the best natural organic yet young smelling, if you get the gist! :)

I always find that “unisex” smelling perfumes are very flattering at least on myself that I’ve noticed. I think it may be the overtly fruity and floral scents seem very preteen, body spray, smelling. Very subtle but cologne-like perfumes are my favorite. For instance Burberry for her is one of the first perfumes I purchased when I started putting effort into my clothes and appearance and I still wear it regularly.

There are bracelets that act as a hair tie holder that look cute. I used to work in a field where I absolutely NEEDED to have at least 1 hair tie available. The bracelet allowed me to keep that function while also looking more elevated. I think it’s very elegant to match your fragrance to the season. Light, bright, and fresh scents when it’s warm and warmer, deeper, richer scents when it’s cold. Everyone’s body chemistry is different so you need to wear what works best for you, but I generally stay away from fragrances that are too sweet (sickly sweet, almost like candy).

Chanel coco intense is my favorite evening perfume and miss Dior is my favorite day time perfume. Those are my favorite go-to perfumes, but I have many I consider to be seasonal. I agree with the chipped nails, just take the polish off! Getting regular hair trims and oral hygiene is so important! I always make sure to have a professional at Sephora match my foundation. If you’re on a budget, Jimmy Choo L’eau for summer and Jimmy Choo Fever for winter. I get many compliments from men and women. Whilst they’re not my favourite, they’re inoffensive and tasteful, yet the lasting power is very good (to me personally anyway, and I’m so picky with scents!). You don’t need to break the bank to look/smell great. Also, if I had to only have one perfume for all occasions, Gucci Premier EDP. Favourites of all time: - Chanel Coco Noir, BEFORE the reformulation - Parfums De Marly Delina (no other PDM’s agree with me) - Christian Louboutin Loubirouge - MFK BR540 - Jo Malone Amber and Ginger Lily - Tiffany Rose Gold for summer - JPG La Belle Intense for winter/night. Took some getting used to, it smelt almost dirty initially but now am in love with it… as is every man who walks past me. And now the BODY CREAM! The Fenty Butta is awesome. It is so good for sensitive skin, but so silky and gorgeous. It’s one of those products that doesn’t let you down because it is exactly as the website describes. There is a very slight tropical scent, which to me personally mixes just fine with all perfumes because it’s so subtle. I personally don’t like perfumed lotion because I feel it is not made to nourish skin, just to make perfume last longer. Fenty Butta makes you G L O W! And no I am not sponsored 😂 just a nobody who loves sharing my favourite products with others!

But you don’t have to spend a lot for nice perfumes! Most expensive perfume I tested without buying was $600 AUD and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tried 😂 JPG la Belle intense isn’t cheap but I’d say for winter/night for a big bottle it’s quite reasonable

I have found that not wearing any nailpolish at all, with shorter nails, is the easiest way to look classy with less. I also used to do that thick brow, but now I do a very light brow which is 1 stripe then using a little brush to spread it. Less is more! And not wearing lipstick from the tube, but using a bit on your finger to put on your mouth is a lot more natural as well. Oh and I completely stopped painting my hair! I'm not grey, I don't need it! Now my hair is full and healthy on it's own instead of the tired, dry, and fake paint upkeep!

The only two items you need to have on your mental checklist before you leave your house should be your car keys and common sense 🙂 You are beautiful and carry yourself the way you want without getting overly conscious about committing a fashion blunder...honestly, just work on your personality which is sooo much more that just wearing make-up the right way and wearing "expensive looking clothes" Don't get me wrong, being well groomed is extremely important..i do ensure i look presentable but please that's just one aspect of my personality.. I recently bought a Pinrose play set (kind of out of trend, but whatever) and there are scents I really enjoy the smell of in it, but I'm not sure if they're really what I want to smell like. I’m a southeast Asian and I was born with dark hair. In my early 20s I loved exploring different colours for my hair, nothing crazy like neon pink or green, but mainly like dark brown and light brown even blonde. The problem I have realised over the years is that the contrast between my root colour and the rest of my coloured hair colour really don’t look put together. And since I didn’t use colour protected shampoo and conditioner, after a while, the hair colour turned brassy, and that brassy paired with my black root hair. Ahh.🤦‍♀️. Apart from that , I have found that the lighter the hair colour I chose, the more it made my face feature “fades away”. It just made me look like a different person in my opinion. So after I turned 25, I stopped dyeing my hair , I slowly accepted my natural hair colour. It’s been 6 years and my hair has never been so healthy and silky and I don’t have to worry about dyeing my hair every 3 months or so. And let me tell you ladies, the quality of your hair does significant impact on your appearance and make you look a lot more elegant and youthful. About fragrance, I have always love j’dore Dior. It is the one of the most sophisticated, timeless classic fragrances I have ever smelled. And it lasts so long on the skin and clothes too. A little goes a long way . I have got so many compliments from friends family and even strangers on the street whenever I wear it.

It didn't hurt that somehow I already do a lot of the things that you teach. Instead of being alienated, I was intrigued. Thank you for asking about scent. My favorites are Dolce & Gabbana Rosa Excelsa and Floral Drops, and Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle. The latter has an intriguing grapefruit note that synergises beautifully with the other elements. I wear fragrance sparingly- more for me than anyone around me. I put a bit on my right wrist, and touch it under my chin. For me, the fragrance is a tool to help calm and center me, a way to bring me to 'now'.

I used to work in the luxury fragrance industry. I can say that the most elegant perfumes, in my opinion, are Jo Malone (very subtle, agreeable, and affordable), Chanel, and Tom Ford. There are of course many more… but those are the brands that come to mind when I think of “elegance”.

I absolutely agree on these, I have Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia, Chanel Mademoiselle, Bvlgary Amethyst best one so far ❤❤

Point number 3: Foundation tone. This can *change* through the year AND also with getting older. Mix foundations within a given brand to get the right tone and colour and consistency. I've just changed to a lighter consistency and a lighter colour but same under tone and in winter it may change again.

Anna's hair looks so good here!! This style/length really suits her well. Oh and about the teeth, actually I'm fully invested in my self improvement journey and I put on braces last year... regular metal ones. At the same time that I feel it looks so stupid, I know it was the right choice, cuz it already looks so much better. Just a few more months to go until my dream smile, I'm very looking forward to getting this thing out hahahah 😆

I got metal braces when I was 26. I kind of liked them, they were shiny and youthful! Once in a ladies room in a restaurant, a woman asked why I would get braces at my age, at this late age, something like that. Well, another 25 years have passed...and I'm SO glad I did.

@@tinalettieri I know what braces are and what they do. My comment was due to HER comment about HER braces. I wasn't looking for a lecture. Thanks

I use these 3 fragrances that alternate depending on my mood or situation Izia la nuit de Sisley, Soir de orient de Sisley and Maison Tahité Sel vanille. Can't wait to see your video about fragrances. By the way, this haircut rejuvenates you, but it is elegant💖
