Here are my recommendations to Coachmen for improving the Crosstrail 20XG.

Maybe Coachmen was watching, because my 20XG just came in and they matched the kitchen window blinds to all the other blinds.

Honestly some people might want a little extra noise when using the bathroom, also the large fan might pull too much air in a small space.

Great video. We are fans of your channel. We looked at this unit and like you guys we liked it and considered moving up from class B. However, the biggest issue Alice had with it has not been discussed on your videos yet and we are very curious on how you are handling it. We have looked at this unit several times and we see no cabinets or drawers for your cloths. You only have one cabinet in bathroom to hang shirts. But in general, it seems anyone that buys this unit has to put cloths in storage area under the bed. The storage area is great for bikes, outdoor stuff, etc. Are we missing something, or do the cloths have to go with the outdoor stuff?

That's a great question. We do fill the small wardrobe in the bathroom with clothes. We also use one of the 3 cabinets above the dinette for cloths. Extra clothing goes in bins under the bed. Hope this helps.

problem with the hinges is the particle board. scrape the crust off the top. fiill the holes with thin super glue. (may have to wipe it up if it runs, warning paper toweling will get hot and possibly burn with significant cyanocrylate. toss it under water.) it will soak into the wood fibers. leave it harden overnight. then put your screws back in. also works in real wood. also works in the carboard foamy ceiling (or whatever it is) I have in my winnebago. (for the smoke detectors) you can make the holes smaller if you must with multiple applications.

LOVE your videos!!!! Can I ask how you obtained power to hook up the TV and phone chargers??

For the TV, we ran an extension cord from the AC plug below in the garage. For the phone charge and DC fan, we ran that from the DC outlet under the dinette, through the bathroom, and into the bedroom. It was a little tricky but worth it. A nice feature there is that you can run the fan all night and charge phones without having to have your inverter on.

@@lorriemelko1285 The only hole we had to drill was in the back garage area. There were existing openings through the bathroom. I believe we used 20 to 30' of cord.

Both front seats do swivel. Just wish they were leather (ish).

Hey thanks so much for posting these vids. As a new cross trail owner, i appreciate the ideas. Can you tell me which bed headboard exactly you used that fits so well? And, just out of curiosity, what tv mount worked for your neat 2x4 setup? Thanks!

The headboard we built with 1 x 6's and brackets. I was mistaken on the TV mount. That was a 1 x 4, not a 2 x 4 that goes between the existing bed brackets. We then used a "no stud TV wall mount " from Amazon. It was $20. I was also mistaken on the cost of the sink from Lowes. It was under $200. Not $300 like I said.

How did you know there was leaking behind the shower wall ?

Great question. The leak came out in the bottom shower pan. That ws fortunate as it did no damage and let us know there was a leak. Also, you could occasionally hear the water pump cycle once when nothing was running.

Did you have to re-mount your microwave so that it sat level?

Yes, we did. There was no support in the back (bottom) so in a short amount of time it striped the screws in the front holding it in place. We removed it completely, added support in the back and reinstalled it. After that, no problems.

Mine was like that too. Just hanging from the flange. I wonder if they know it’s not supposed to be that way.
