Adding onto the whole "power destroys reality" thing, we've also been told in DBS that if Beerus and Champa fought, they'd destroy the universe they're battling in. That could just mean they'll destroy planets, but given that they're both gods, it helps prove that power can indeed break reality

Akira Toriyama is unfortunately underrated and unnoticed when it comes to his genuinely artistic story-telling. For instance, there's a deep esoteric meaning between the ss god form and ssb transformations. Ss god contains more benevolence (henece, the calmness to the transformation). While ssb contains more malevolence (hence, the angry yelling that goes into the transformation). In the TOP goku couldn't use the spirit bomb in a super saiyan form because "maliciousness creeps inside of him." Yes, goku did go ssb after launching the spirit bomb (same with kid buu) but that was only to get that extra push of power. Another thing to consider is that goku actually purified buu to become uub. Goku gave buu his blessings and kindness for him to reincarnate to something more benevolent. This was an act of benevolence. On the other hand, Gogeta in ssb would have likely killed broly with the kamehameha (You can tell from his malicious eyes that gogeta blue had a killing intent). This can be seen as an act of malevolence. Gogeta had no words of blessings here, he went straight to the point. Toriyama is no stranger when it comes to syncronizing [Taoist] symbolic and esoteric meaning into dragon ball. Dragon ball is all about taoism, or about the unification and harmonization of duality. Breaking reality was actually introduced in thr Buu saga when both Super Buu and SS3 Gotenks were able to focus their power enough to rip through the HTC and back into the real world after Piccolo destroyed the only entrance and exit from the dimension, and it was later stated that after absorbing Gotenks and Ultimate Gohan that Buu could have ripped reality apart if he had the time to focus his energy which Vegito made sure he didn't.

Keep in mind the electricity is effective only before Broly goes into a rage. I believe it's sorta like training an elephant. Often as a baby, elephants will be kept in place with some sort of rope around their leg held in place by a peg in the ground. When they become adults this still works because they were raised to believe that peg would hold them in place, even though as adults they could easily rip that peg out of the ground likely without even noticing. I think the same effect applies to Broly, as he doesn't power up to try to combat it, he just submits to it. There's also the fact that Goku can tank galaxy ending attacks, yet when he lets his guard down, a laser gun can hurt him. Ki is the key (lol) to all Z fighters strength, power, speed, and durability. Raised to the max, im sure the collar would have done nothing, but Broly wasn't powered up really at all.

Yes, he has grown to like his new home world, the family he has created, and the people he has met, but Vegeta has always wanted revenge against Freiza. Remember Resurrection F? Vegeta was pissed because Goku stole his kill. It's because Vegeta wants to inact vengeance with his own two hands. Vegeta is a very respectful person, and believes he owes his race the satisfaction of knowing that their own prince got revenge for their deaths.
