Here’s a tip that may help your zippers. Get a cheap candle and rub it on the teeth of your zippers. As you pull the tab opened and closed, the wax will coat the teeth and make the tab move better. The wax should add a protective layer. I’m not sure how long it will last; I haven’t ever tested that aspect. As a side note, the candle wax also works on sticky drawer glides, when you have wood to wood contact.

Great tips! Remember, the wind and sea may rock the boat but only you can tip the crew!

Try using glass cleaner on your stuck zippers. If they are not really bad it will help.

Hi I'm looking at buying a Gemini but were told they slam a lot even in anchorage. is it realy that bad? thanks

They do slam on the bridge deck, kind of disturbing at first. But you get used to it. You also learn to anchor in more protected areas to lessen it. We only notice it when the water is very choppy.
