Really appreciate being told how skittish they are when they are young. I got mine about 3 months ago, and was really not having the best time trying to get them used to me. They turned 1 based off what I was told with by the shop I got them from, but expecting to have to wait a bit longer as they still look a bit smaller than Rex does at one despite them already growing a lot since I’ve got them

hey! i know that this is unrelated to this specific video, but i just want to thank you for being a huge influence in my research on leopard gecko. almost 2 years ago, i was 10 years old and i decided that i wanted a leopard gecko. i watched almost all of your up to date leopard gecko videos. now, i have a really happy gecko named noodle, and he is living a healthy life in a 45 gallon tank, eats well, and loves being handled. i just wanted to thank you so much for all of your help. you’re awesome!! ❤️🫶🏼🐆🦎

It's amazing to see how far this channel has come. In fact, this is the reason I wanted and succeeded in getting a now happy and healthy leopard gecko. Her name is Zizzard, and she is 4 years old. Almost 5! I started watching back in 2019, because of how cute the leopard gecko footage was. I learned about the dangers of sand, abuse and mistreatment, real world stuff. Little did I know that soon I would have my very own child! She is happy and healthy BECAUSE of this channel, and I am unendingly grateful. I love Zizzard so much, even through the pain! Thank goodness I became quickly aware that getting a pet is not the same as putting a portrait on the wall. They're not for display! They're living, breathing creatures who need love, and I'm so happy that I'm fortunate enough to provide that love. Thank you, thank you, thank you. So much!

I was just watching your video on Bruce (Blue tongued skink)'s recent tank updates, and it's so neat to me to see the differences between Rex and Bruce, especially their behaviour. Bruce seems so much larger and more chill to Rex's skittishness!

In the US, the department of energy is banning GSL general service lamps early july. The bad news is that the specifications of this has impacted reptile lights. I have signed petitions from USARK and contacted both department of energy and my state representative. Hopefully an exemption is made.

This was a really great vid! Have to say a 10 gallon for any reptile nowadays seems ridiculous. I didn't know there was info saying 10 gallons for an adult. Thanks for mentioning that, because yeah... that's way too small! Do they have different body language things they do other than the defensive? If so, do you think you'd do a vid on that sometime?

I have a question about crested geckos. How many insects do you feed in one setting? I’ve heard around 10 for crickets and half that for Dubai roaches but I’m not sure.

I know this is really off-topic, but I recently got an albino leopard gecko and I have a heating pad under his like warm area and then I have a cool area. I don’t have a UV light he’s near a window that I put a towel like over his like enclosure so it’s just like half of it and I was wondering if like that’s OK

i know it does not fit the video but i need help and found your previous videos helpful. Maybe you can help my leopard gecko (6 years old). She laid eggs and lost too much calcium, so we had to go to the vet because her bones were getting soft. Now we are in the rebuilding phase. The problem is that her jaws have become soft and she can't manage to get a firm bite to get food. So we need to give high calcium medicin (to bring her bone strength back) Now we need to help feed her, but we have to put it deep in her mouth, according to the doctor. But isn't that force feeding? Any advice? Or help? Thx
