I was tired once, so i pulled over to sleep

I just started riding a motorcycle and it's insane how close people will follow behind me. I wish I could drop a spike strip or something to make them back the fuck up. People just need to calm down on the road and learn patience and efficiency. Most people have no driving "rhythm" at all.

BMW should really look into why their blinker fluid runs out faster than other cars...

When I leave proper following distance in traffic - jerks constantly use that space to change lanes right in front of me. When I am behind someone at a light and they do not start moving after the light goes green, I beep my horn as a courtesy. Then the person continues to sit there until the light turns yellow, flips me the bird, and races away just as the light goes red. When I am trying to parallel park and turn on my signal, the car behind me pulls up so close that I can't back up. Then, after I give up and drive away - they take the space that I was trying to get into. When a car changes lanes in the middle of a turn and starts crowding me, I honk so they won't hit my car. Inevitably, this results in them flipping me off or challenging me to pull over and fight them. #11, #12, and #13 should be: People who do not know how to use acceleration lanes, people who refuse to let cars merge onto the highway, and people who drive slow in the left lane on the interstate because they think it is their job to help enforce the speed limit.

The following distance is so annoying. Its always some impatient soccer mom in an equinox, and no matter how fast you go they wont stop tailgating you. Then when they have no one in front of them, they slow down.

In programming class today someone complained that the program we were doing was too long. So my teacher looked up how many lines of code different cars and websites and games run on. Apparently one of the cars with the most is the Mercades S-class with 400 MILLION LINES OF CODE. F-22's have about 9 million and the new ford GT has 10 million lines.

So If I were to change lanes in the middle of an intersection following 20 feet behind the guy in front of me without signalling, while being wasted/tired with headphones on looking at my phone while its really foggy out, you're saying I'd be a threat to other drivers?

Sleep is the cousin of Death. People just need to get the right amount of sleep, 7-8 hrs. Don't go fast in any wet condition, higher chance of hydroplaning when going fast. Don't go slow on the left lane unless you are passing the vehicles that is right and right most of you.

Drinking and driving is very common nowadays and its critical that everyone should inform teenagers about the danger and the tragic outcome of their stupid behaviour. Teens nowadays think that they are invulnerable but they dont realise they are putting themselves and most importantly others at risk. Would you consider making a video dedicated to informing about drinking and driving? Thanks from a worried teenager.

I'm sure its a silly question, but Is it illegal to not have a working horn? The clock spring/air bag sensor broke in my car and I don't feel like replacing it again. I've replaced it 3 times already and every 6 months it goes out. It was part of those air bag recalls.

In CA, you can lane change in the intersection because there isn't any law in the CVC that prevents you from doing it, but you can still get a ticket if an officer deems it as an unsafe lane change

FUN FACT: You should not use your blinkers in Mexico. Lane changes are a battle to get the precious space on the other lane, so you must not telegraph your attack and instead attack by surprise by never letting anyone know you're going to take the other sucker's space.

What if 2 cars arrive at an intersection at the same time directly across from one another. Are they both second to go?

I've seen some people drive without wearing their seatbelt. I'm surprised you didn't mention that. Also most people I know and ride with don't come to a complete stop at a stop sign if there are no other cars at that intersection and they are not turning at that intersection. Also a lot of people like to play what I call "beat the traffic light" which is when someone floors the gas to get through an intersection when the light is yellow to avoid running a red light.

The following distance tip is really unreasonable in big cities, particularly in the east coast. I noticed that LA drivers keep a huge following distance (on my standards at least), but here in Philly, the "normal" following distance is about half a mini cooper @ 60 mph.

I once read a study that said that a 15-minute nap can "recharge" your attention from 20% of what you have in the morning after a good sleep to up to 80% again. So I would say that taking a nap is the smartest thing you can do when you drive late at night or are for some other reason sleep deprived.

Hey Parker and Eddie, you should do a review on a Chevy Tahoe if you can get your hands on one. I have one as a rental right now and it's surprisingly nice (and fast) for a large SUV. Definitely one to look into if you're looking for cars to review.

I wear my earbuds quite a lot in the car, only because i walk around with it, then enters the car, then leaves and repeat... My question is.. How much sound their earbuds are noise cancelling & how loud their music is playing? I normally have 2 buds in even when i talk to someone, i still hear them fine? A freaking horn would sure as hell be heard even for people almost hitting that sound limit on their tracks. They are loud..

I use my headphones when i drive sometimes but only with one earplug in, you guys thinks tjat is okay of should i stop doing that?

For number 1, get a bump step or other hitch mounted crumple zone. There great even if you don't have a pickup bed or roof rack. Not only will it save your rear from collisions, it will make people think twice before tailgating you when they see it.

Never smoked up and drove but you can tell I'd be bad at driving high cuz apparently I kinda just mumbled "oh ya just swerve thru that red light let's go miss that Benz" as a high passenger. Yep. Smart.

On the first one, definitely in Michigan this is an issue. My mother recently moved to the Detroit area from Indiana. Me and my brother were going up to visit her (and we both still live in Indiana) and we ended up getting rear ended TWO MILES INTO MICHIGAN because traffic ahead of us hit their brakes, and the lady behind us in a Volvo S60 was so close we couldn't see her headlights, and we were in a Lincoln LS so it isn't a very tall car. Very sketchy to get rear ended going between 75-80 (keeping with traffic).

Same here with the following distance in California. People always cut in front of me and I have to keep adjusting my distance and yes I do drive from a reasonable distance
