Ten times melon made me change my opinion on an album

Recent realization: Future's verse on "Kings Dead" is probably the highlight of the song. Going off the hype of Jay rock, the verse is memorable to anyone who hears it. First listen it is childish at best, but it sticks. I think that is why Kendrick and Company kept it in the final cut, listening to it multiple times, I can see how they could look at it and say "Yup, this is worth publishing. Too fun to let it go"

Looking forward to a Tundercat rethink in the next version. Honestly, I think this is my favourite series of yours. A few of my favourite albums languished in my collection for years before I rediscovered them and it finally clicked. Even Joy Division was kinda like this for me.

Their music as incredible and it would be great if you could use this platform to spread the word of their music and continue their legacy Thank you

*Wasted Light* is one of my top five albums of all time. One of the few I still can listen to start to finish even after a ton of listens. I feel like it was FF's peak, since they really have just been making average records since then. Watch the live performance when they play the entire album straight, it flows amazingly and it has an old school ferocity and grittiness while combining melodic and catchy structuring; a style you don't really see done as often or as well anynore. While it doesn't have any single track that I say is one of their greatest (no comparison to Everlong, My Hero, The Pretender, etc) it felt like the whole was the culmination of everything that defines Dave Grohl as a musician.

I change my mind on the following: The Knife's 'Shaking the Habitual' initially blew me away. But on more listens I got bored during their long intervals of what seemed like wasted sonic space. I love several tracks on that album, but overall don't find myself going back to the album. I intially could not get through Isis' 'Wavering Radiant' but later came to love that album. Initially, I didn't get why the fuss over Isis' 'Panopticon' but later came to love that album as well.

While I do find myself going back to the other three Kendrick albums you mentioned, more than DAMN. I still find it odd that you disliked it as much as you have. I don't know if I'd say it's his best either, but I think it has a lot of interesting ideas that weren't on anything he's done before. The biggest pull for me is that it's so sonically different than anything I've heard from him. I was pleasantly surprised to get a really different sound from his other stuff. I find myself appreciating Pink Friday more, as time goes on. I think it was a really solid, in-your-face album with brilliantly placed features and throwback samples. She was at her best here and I wish she would release another album that hit as hard as I feel this one did. There are plenty of tracks I love of hers from everything that followed her debut, but nothing imo was as strong. I think that if she can find that magic again and put out an album that is track after track enjoyable, she would solidify herself as an artist whose impact could potentially last forever. I'd hate to see her fall into the Ludacris category she is slowly slipping into more and more. Don't get me wrong- Luda is fuckin awesome and I'd glad have him as a side dish to literally every song created, but the problem for me is that his own discography doesn't do it for me. The only song that I still rock to this day is "My Chick Bad' which (surprise surprise) features the aforementioned female equivalent.
