I just love seeing when they suprised those patients, it's like living the whole life knowing it's impossible to meet your idol but we finally met one so ofc everything is possible even the illness will be cure one day too. Thanks for giving them more hope to keep on living. Thanks for proving them everything is possible as loing as you stay alive and don't give up. We need more people like you. Thanks for saving lifes.

Despite the motive the end result was happiness for the fan. Much the same as say my giving $1,000 to my girls family only to impress her. Sad that I would feel the need to do such a thing and very shallow of me. But her family then used and the cash for Bills and food so in the end a win.

"Since neither of us truly know the hearts of these actors" dude, it's not about having a "heart", it's about keeping yourself relevant in the eyes of the public. You yourself wouldn't do this kind of thing without any incentive if you were a celeb. That's just how it is. Celebs try to avoid public most of the time, unless they have to keep up their reputation or if they are paid to interact with the public. And you are comparing giving money to your girls family to impress her with these publicity stunts? Bruh, you gave money to IMPRESS HER. These celebs are trying to gain reputation, they are USING THE PUBLIC. These are not at all related in anyway. You trying to give money to your girl to impress her, shows your attention and concern towards her, these celebs showing off themselves interacting with their "fans" shows their concern towards their own reputation and public attention.

But what your not seeing is these "celebs" are just people like us too. Different jobs than say you or I, but they are much like the ordinary fellow. Not all mind you, but a lot. Some are wise enough to realize fame passes and the everyday events of life continue (and the beat goes on).

Oompa Loompa not necessarily, I’ve been at the hospital and my 2 favorite characters surprised me. I was in there for a simple procedure but had to be watched overnight. They happened to be there and came by my room. While you are correct about it being because they don’t have much time left it’s also to cheer them up or it’s just a coincidence that they are in the building. I saw Johnny depp and Tom Holland it was nice. Both really funny people
