Having a home for everything and the blocking open spaces with flowers have been amazing tips to keep our house organized for a while now. Thanks Emily

I’m showing this video to my mom. I’ve spent my whole life trying to teach her some of these basic life skills that are highlighted here. How she was able to be a grad school professor for 42 years never having written any tasks or deadlines down is beyond me. Imagine how successful she would have been with lists! But, it’s never too late!

Emily, I may not always comment but I always watch your videos. You are so inspiring and I can see that you really care to put a lot into making such motivational videos. You always have great ideas but it also has to do with how you present them. Once again thank you for putting in the time and effort to help all of us, I have gotten such great ideas from you!! Enjoy the rest of August!!

I was really struggling with the "don't sit down" rule especially after putting my two toddlers to bed then I have ZERO energy, but I managed to do that by cleaning BEFORE they sleep ! that way I get this superpower and I find myself so focused and cleaning fast because I'm thinking about their bed time

That's the first thing I do after my toddler goes to sleep. Idk why his bedtime routine takes everything out of me. I'm always exhausted after I get him to bed. I totally get you! I sit down probably too much so I need to work on this. I would probably get a lot more done 👍

My 20 month old is asleep before 8pm most days, and I take that time to have to myself and watch TV and get on my phone. Sometimes I stay up til 11 and by them I've rested enough to take care of the dogs and clean the floors

I make my bed every morning and by doing that, it encourages me to make sure other things in the room are put away. It is now a habit I have. Definitely agree that habit forming is fabulous at helping to keep things tidier. Great tips again.

The two best organisation tips I learned with you Emily (and use daily): the 10min timer & the “Don’t sit” before organising the kitchen (at least)! It helps me soooo much, makes me a happier person, especially in the morning, when I wake up to a clean kitchen and dining area 🤩💝

It’s funny because I have always loved these sorts of videos but have always scoffed at some of the common things like the morning/evening clean routines and command centres. Then I had kids. After the first baby, routines became a staple in our house. Now I’ve just had the second baby and I definitely need to implement more of these, including the command centre. There’s just so much more to keep track of with kids than there was with just my husband and I.

I loved your older videos but this just popped up and I desperately needed it. We just moved from the east coast United States to a US base in Italy - what a change! I mostly miss my online shopping because I used to Do the same thing with meal planning. What a game changer it was. This has inspired me to do it again!!

I just recommended today her video to a friend and I actually didn't know is exactly about a clean house, because I just told her before how much Emily's videos helped me (a mom of three) to get an organised house (as I am not organised by nature, and I have to work on it). Thanks Emily. Almost every time when I met a new mom I just told her watch Emily Noris, Taina luciardo toivola and Brian Tracy. Thanks a lot.

I have always looked up to you and love your advice. You've helped me become the mother I am today! I'm still in awe how you always take such good care of everyone and yourself. I feel I can barely get out of my pajamas some days let alone do my hair and makeup and keep everyone fed and taken care of! I struggle daily lol. I think I would really benefit from writing down a routine like you suggested. I have a loose routine where there's wiggle room and sit down a lot. Thank you so much for sharing your advice and your family is lucky to have such a great mom ❤ some days I can barely handle 1 baby so I really admire you for doing such a good job with 3

Definitely I'm someone who loves being organised. But I'm always on the look-out for tips and ideas to make my life even more easier. I make lists for everything. Plus write Daily Tasks and trying to do Weekly Menu planning. It will make my life easier. I do tend to cook xtra so i freeze half of what I cook if I can. I get the kids involved whenever possible. But in general keeping on daily tasks gives me a clear mind. I only wish I had done this decades ago!!😂

The GAMECHANGER in organising an ENTRYWAY - is individual "launching station". It means that every family member has one basket (or drawer or something) where he or she has EVERYTHING that he needs to get before getting out of the door - hat, gloves, keys, wallet, sunglasses, perfume, lipstick, whatever. You take ONE basket and you have EVERYTHING you need just in one and you dont need to scramble around different baskets for gloves and hat and all. And it also means that chance of forgetting something is so much less, because if you glance in your basket and its empty - it means you have not forgotten anything! And of course, what is IN the basket should be changed according to the season (hats and gloves at winter, and cap and sunglasses at summer :) ). It is a GAMECHANGER! Even my 3 y.o. toddler dresses herself and dont need a reminder (wear this wear that), she sees herself what is left to wear :) I hope that helps!

I cannot make the bed straight away, the thought of making the bed when it is still warm makes me shudder. I have to open the windows, throw back the covers and air the beds and pillows for as long as possible. Every home has dust mites and they love moist, warm matresses/bedding, it is a perfect breeding ground for them. All the other suggestions are excellent. Thanks for sharing.

I love just having one book of handmade stuff from my youth. It's just enough to be fun but not overwhelming. My parents have made me and my sister photo albums too though and I like them, but really don't want them. 15 photo albums just take up to much space I don't have.. Just heard someone talk about a in and out basket in their pantry. Though it was so smart. All the things you buy and are going to use within a few days have a place then, instead of just taking up space on the kitchen counter.

I know most people make their bed, with the quilt fully covering the bed again.. I just fold mine back in half towards the footrest of the bed. I only use white sheets, and I've always used a white flat sheet folded back at the bottom and top end of the quilt. As I get out of bed, I just fold it back neatly, get rid of creases on the fitted sheet. It aires out all day, looking neat and tidy, all white...

Great video & tips. I save these type of videos that you post so that I can watch them again. I especially agree with making your bed. I find that when I make my bed my whole bedroom looks tidy. The only one I don’t do is to put the washing away in the evening. I always put it away as soon as the tumble dryer has finished.

I’ve found setting a timer on a night so once little one is asleep I’ll set the timer for like 15mins sometimes just 10mins if it’s been a busy day and that works so well because it makes me priorities what needs doing!! I’m also not a naturally tidy person but now my little boy is getting to an age where he’s learning to help more (he’s 3) so we’ve created him a little station as we come in the door to hang his coat & bag it’s at his hight and he knows where to go and get his shoes and bag in a morning! It’s not perfect as we are waiting to renovate so kinda making do with what we have storage wise! Xx

I start doing the before bed cleaning routine ! I love it , some time it is hard to stick to it , but it is so useful! But I never make my bed , cause I work morning , evening and night shifts , so my sleeping time is so different than my husband! So our bet is most of the time untidy 🤭

Great video for ideas? Cos some of these organization gadgets are a little too costly for some of us? But I will still find similar ones online as cheap as possible..🌻 Thank you

One thing i do is... each night before going to bed i set out all of the stuff i need in the mornings, pills, water, cereal bowls with the cereal boxes next to it, lunch boxes, dog food bowl etc. That way when i get up i am already organised. (I get up super early for work by the way) No thinking involved.

Hi. Here is an affiliate link amzn.to/3lO7ckg We took a gamble as loved the look of it but it had bad reviews for the packaging on Amazon, but we didn't have any problems. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching xx
