That is factual wrong, Van Persie had his best season for Arsenal and his entire carrer before he joined United the following summer. He scored 30 league goals, became top scorer in Premier League, played in all of the 38 matches in that season and he got the award for player of the season (we are talking about the 2011/2012 season). And no he wasnt down as their captain, in fact one of the reason why the transfer was a huge shock was because of this and of course because he was the best player in the league at that time.

The whole world wanted Messi to win, all the medias were backing him, both Infantino and Qatar wanted his ´special´ win to happen and all those contraversial penalties. It just was ment to happen, I don´t believe all those ´coincidences´ happened so much in a row every of them in his favour. But when it comes to his club history, he failed very badly at PSG. Last year he couldn´t even score or assist, this year is at least better, but still he lost everything(only that WC that stays, but after a year it will be fogotten). So he for sure made mistake to go to PSG(unless that was part of winning the WC, because there are also those rumors). And also he was loved in Barca, while now PSG fans aren´t so glad with him. And as for Ronaldo, everything backfired after Madrid. If he stayed with them, I even think he would have won the Modric Golden Ball and from there might have even had chance to win another lated and to beat Messi in this.
