My very first time fighting Bonemass, he killed me and destroyed my portal as I was trying to escape. I had a looooong sail back to his spawner, and when I got there he was right on the coast so I couldn't land... he chased me DEEP into the water (like up to his neck) so I sailed around and shot him with arrows and he couldn't hit me with anything. Haha

So if I do manage to get my dagger and sneak skills very high, I can kill trolls with one hit and get some troll hides that I won't need anymore because I'll already be so far into the game?

lol well there is other creatures besides trolls to kill 🤣 plus it works fine early on as well

@@UnknownFactions It also works fine in the early game to kill deer with the flint knife. Sneak up, and oneshot them with the special attack. Good alternative to needing a bow for hunting. And the copper knife in the black forest is a decent choice against trolls. But only if you can sneak up to them. Or if you can stagger them with a bronze buckler.

Or you could beat the whole game by yourself and never get above level 50 in any stat. 🤷‍♂️ Up to you.

The first time I beat Bonemass, I ended up playing ring-around-a-rosy with him around his spawner. It was messy, but I got him. Heck - it's Bonemass, in the swamp. It's always going to be messy.

6:40 - farms...build up the ground around the farms and make a pen around that instead of digging down, unless they patched it, itll protect the spawner from any damage from the wolves too...at least it should. then you can have stone gates/metal gates which are more resistant to the damage they could possibly take. need a lot of stone though regarding the blobby boy, you can dig under the unharvestable trees in the swamp and grab a ton of wood and make spiked walls and let him grind you...maybe even be able to clip through some campfires! he cant hit you with poison or anything :) afterwards dig out :)

rasing them works good when you can't get deep enough to get the wolves away from all the little roots of the spawner. and I'm about to try this cheesy bonesmass strat lol I've seen people place the fires at the base and they are protect from rain so you can burn him

Or you can use console and save hours of you precious real life, instead of carrying back and forth crap that can be carried away at once.

@@blairbrook1336 I mean, survival games, i.e. cheap to produce, castrated RPGs, are just a waste of time for zombie players. Instead of an interesting story, well-written dialogues with NPCs, or solutions such as 'fast travel' or 'saving the game':) - there is only wasting time on farming and repetitive childish activities.
