These stories are on par with traditional ghost stories and sometimes they're even creepier since shadow people don't need a haunted house to scare someone. Another great video Mort. Thank you for all your hard work

True story: I used to see tiny humanoid silhouettes, roughly an inch or so high that used to jump and caper about my bedroom when I was a kid. They only ever appeared during the summer months, and as i grew older they turned up less and less frequently until they stopped coming at all. They never made me feel afraid, fact is I always felt safe when i saw them.

Thank you mortis for getting my story out there. My story, the twenty years ago one, was well done. I see no one really has come up with any new ideas of who the woman was or why she was so interested in my husband. The idea of a succubus is interesting, and yes, the woman was very interested in my husband but I do not think it was a human woman projecting their aura etc.

My friend and I were chased by a shadow person. It walked super slow but at a pace of a brisk jog. It had the build of a tall burly man. I still can't explain this too this day but we both saw and described the same thing. We both felt like it gave off a very malicious energy. I hope I never see it again.

Careful guys. I've been seeing the shadow spiders since I was in college. My husband was able to describe in perfect detail one he saw in our current home walking the paths I've seen. It's obviously not a hypnogogic hallucination like they say. It only gets worse over time. I saw the hooded man in the hospital the night before a a huge surgery (I was on a ketomine iv drip for a full day). He is 10 foot tall made of the same black smoke the spiders are made of. I think it was what people called the grim reaper historically. The nurses found me screaming "don't let him take me". Apparantly I woke form surgery screaming too which is super rare in adults. think certain drugs can thin the veil. The spiders though, not on any drugs but rather half asleep. I even dreamt I told myself how to see them. Something to do with squinting. I really want to urge you to research this. Millions of people in history can't all be hallucinating the same things. We can't all have mass hallucinations on record for thousands of years with not connection to eachother, that's not how it works. I can tell you this: when I was able to snap out of the paralysis and cry for Jesus it really did get rid of the spider right away in that time. The issue is the overwhelming terror paralyzes you and it's incredibly hard to snap out of it. I honestly wonder if seeing them is contageous. My dad saw the old hag at the foot of his bed about a year ago so that's why I think it. Ive done a ton of research on it and I believe I understand what it is now. I pray people don't blow this off as fiction. It's real and a trauma that keeps repeating and it's really awful. These stories might be fiction but this is really happening to a lot of people.

I think rather than it being contagious, it could be inherited, like psychic abilities, etc.

@@KristenKras I don't believe its inherited per se. Not when we know the cause. Its connected to sexual sin. That's the conclusion a lot of folks have come to. I know it's true because it started shortly after I had an abortion. It was to most horrible thing I've ever done and I will regret it the rest of my life. No amount of repentance though will stop them. The keep trying to get closer to you. These things are huge, the bodies are bigger than a softball. You can feel the weight of them shift the bed when they land on your pillows. I think they want to get to your face for some reason. They are feeding on our fear. You should research the term "loosh". That stephen king movie Dr. Sleep talks about the concept. That's what this is. They are feeding on negative emotions.

I don't think I could even guess just how many times now I've heard that at some point in someone's story, they are sent running scared, and become Usain Bolt. Kinda makes me wonder, though, if anything has ever scared Usain Bolt so bad that he just turns into a cheetah....
