Secret Message Section: My cork boards keep bending and unsticking from the walls as a result. It's really bothering me. Does anyone have a solution?

We lived in a house where someone was murdered. Wasn’t able to get much backstory, but it was sort of infamous on the street, something about an older woman and some drug dealers squatting on the property. Lived there for years with nothing happening, but that all changed when my daughter was born. The day we brought her home, strange things would happen. The cliche stuff: doors opening and closing, lights going off and on. I swear I’d see someone in the reflection of a window, or see them just out of the corner of my eye. We would see weird things on the baby camera - a strange fog or the baby humming/babbling to herself. It got very weird, and I ended up selling the place. I took a photo of the house to post and there was a weird shape in the window that was also the baby’s room. We left about 3 years ago; my daughter is about 3.5 years old and talks all the time about her friend from the old house. She says it was an old lady who was very nice and friendly.

Should've stayed then. She'd have protected your kid. If such things are real. I personally have never seen nor felt anything.

The house I grew up in was haunted...but she was a sweet kind lady...Tell the truth I miss her...She was beautiful and she watched over me...Years later I have ran into one that was pure evil ,but not all are bad...I see things most don't ...My great grandmother was the same...Hell it is what it is...I even saw my husband's dad ..chilling in a chair on our balcony...I never got to met him in life as he passed years before I even met my husband ...He seemed happy .I have only seen pics of him ..I told my hubby what I saw ...He believes me ..So I take it as a good thing ..Like he is ok that his son found someone who loves him like crazy.. .I was born and raised in Kentucky...but my hubby is Bavarian...and we live in Germany now...I did wonder how his dad would take me ...would he like me ..or not ..LOL

Same here! I’m usually fine with fireworks, but this year is so much worse than others! My dogs hate it, I have PTSD from years ago when my street had 3 drive by shootings in a week, and while I can handle some of it, the excessive fireworks use this year is too much. It’s 3am here and people still haven’t stopped. I’m sorry, I’m just frustrated with it and even these videos aren’t drowning it out enough.

Mort, I've had similar problems with porous materials over the years. Our house is a genuinely old house that needed total renovation that we got for free when we were too young to understand what we were getting ourselves into. If the boards are bending, you may be able to get them slightly damp--not wet---then place something like wax paper or aluminum foil on top and then a stack of books or something heavy. Let them dry a few days and see if they lay flat. Then maybe use a non toxic construction adhesive (LocTite if you have that brand in the UK) to glue them to a plywood or other stiff boards so they will stay flat. LocTite is awesome stuff, but there are bound to be other adhesives that are permanent, don't stink and will do the job.

We've been in this house for 33 years, and even now there are things needing re-doing. We renovated when we got the place but we've been in it so long now that things need renovated again just from the wear-and-tear of 33 years of living in it! I am a jill of all trades, master of none!!

Sorry to keep replying, but I just remembered I took an old oil painting on canvas board that was warped into a perfect U shape. It was a beautiful landscape of Texas, 16"x20". I carefully dampened the back of it with water, a little at a time until it became pliable. I partially flattened it, dampened and flattened a little more, and kept doing that several times until I got it flat without damaging the oil painting on the front. Put wax paper on the front and back, put it face down on a table, and stacked books on the back until it was flat, and let it dry for a few days. Worked perfectly and now it hangs in a nice frame in our bedroom.

So many people want to stay in haunted houses, don’t get me wrong, it can be cool and weird and interesting at first. But after so many years it’s exhausting and terrifying. I’m good to visit but overnights, NOPE! lol I grew up in a haunted house, lived there for 29 years and I always felt like I was being watched. It's not easy, I was curious like you are, and you know what, I couldn't even cross the main GATE entrance, felt like someone already in the building waiting, it was around 10 pm, I challenged my friends that I will go in the building, but they will have to stay outside wait for me.them scumbags left me front of the main gate and as soon I turn my face around to ask them to stay... They drove off... They came back after 5 minutes because they were playing with me, but believe me, that 5 minutes were like hell like silence like I can't even describe ,i felt anytime someone will come and drag me in. I swear, never tried after that.

Loved Gladstone Villa, believe it absolutely as I grew up in a haunted house in the mountains above Los Angeles. Each person in our family had a room they felt uneasy in when alone, but they were different rooms. Some people could see ghosts, Others, like myself, only heard them on occasion. After I discovered it had been a ghost I'd been hearing for years, I never heard it again. We had mediums in, but since nobody was ever threatened by anything remotely evil, we merely asked if all was ok with them. One asked that we paint the guesthouse interior a different color. She didn't like yellow.

"Good evening all". Love it!! I think it would be very interesting to stay the night in a haunted house. I'd be game! Alright, lights are out and ready to let the darkness take control. Could be caused by humidity. Is it humid where you're at? Might get one that has maybe a metal or plastic type back.

Elaina or Elena, the one with ADHD, I hear the sister's woes. Kids like that or on the autism spectrum sure are a challenge to live with. They are amazing but they have all sorts of different things that bother them that possibly wouldn't bother us. It is a privilege to be with them but a challenge.

Love haunted houses, mine is supposedly haunted, it adds interest, I debunked some but there are some things, I can't for the life of me find a reasonable explanation. It's an old house split into 3 apartments and I've been here 20 years. Every single neighbor I've had, about 13 of them, have at one time, with no prompting told me their place is haunted, what are the odds? They didn't stay long,except the last one she's been here 10 years, and firmly believes we have a ghost, LoL. One apartment is empty now, she didn't stay a full year.

I’m so sorry, I usually have no problem with your videos, even some of the stories that are pretty unbelievable. But I cannot get through the first on in this video. We don’t need to know your entire family tree, dates that are important to you but no one else, reminders of names whenever someone is mentioned like they’re people we’re supposed to recognize like they’re famous or something, or all the details of everyone’s life. There’s more of the “this is my family and these are all of their quirks and interests, oh and the bed moved once.” I’m sorry for even saying anything, but for some reason that writing style really bothers me when it’s in a forum like this. Just stick to the parts that are directly related to the specific scary experiences. Save the rest for writing a memoir or family history.
