It's lovely to grow old gracefully. That's what I'm doing. She's beautiful inside and out

Very smart talented woman. Her book waa called "Knock Wood." As for her father. He was talented and scandinavian, who are not known for their warm personalities especially on first meeting. And Scandinavian fathers do tend to be standoff ish. I think Candace did really well career wise once she grew up. And she was incredibly beautiful- see her in the movie The Group, in which she played Lacey. Not a huge part but her beauty is breathtaking. And then there was her fabulous wicked sense of humor. What a woman.

See her in, THE SAND PEPPLES. Robert Wise directed. Steve McQueen was the lead actor. Candace was 18 yrs old and gorgeous. Met her on the film.

Left all his money to the puppet and nothing for Candace. That's disgusting. But she became famous in her own right.

Wow when you have to compete with a real dummy. That is so sad I feel so sorry for her. And her mother cuz I'm quite sure she had to compete to. So the money is just sitting right. Or did the dummy spend it. 🤔😏😔😉🤣

The father seemed like a likeable modest guy, his little act with the dummy was his lifeline. Still he seemed adorable to fans. Candace is a much stronger character.

Some people are like that. My father never cared about his wife or his 3 sons. Only his dog. There have always been a dog. It followed him around, slept by his bed, lay close to him when he was reading newspaper or tinkering. You'd try to talk to him and he'd shut the door on your face while mumbling "leave me alone", under his breath. He had no friends, a total loner. Probably an Asperger case. And of course he did not leave a will.

Her relationship with her father, the disconnect of communicationirrors the same dynamic of Jane Fonda with her father Henry Fonda. The 2 fathers are reserved introverts and a little peculiar as well as gifted. The 2 daughters are tigers ambitious and ultra successful. Their egos competing with their fathers, and not forgiving their limitations. The fathers were not capable of intimacy in the family. Its sad but i dont feel to bad for Jane and Candace. They did pretty well!

Edgar Bergen was a multi-millionaire. Mostly, the money went to his wife, Frances. This video is riddled with inaccuracies.

Candice did not star in "Pretty Baby" and "Atlantic City." Susan Sarandon did. Candice met and married Louis Malle after Malle and Sarandon broke up. Malle and Bergen never made a movie together.

She never discusses the feint of 10050 Cielo when melcher was apprehensive about staying at this house and never warned Polanskis . That is something that if she told the polanskis they may have not moved in that house. She owed them that. She rented from atlobelli so they weren’t selling the house. All she had to say was I’d wouldn’t move in there. But she didn’t. I wished she had. Sharon had other homes that she liked. She was friends with Sharon and sharon had a party for Candice in the week before the murders . She knew melcher was apprehensive of Manson.

I remember the story very well as that is my vintage. Many people today have forgotten about Manson and the whole cult movement. The recent film a few years ago was quite accurate.
@lemorab1
@lemorab1 Ай бұрын
Melcher and others who had dealings with Manson had no idea what was coming, or how dangerous Charlie Manson actually was. Melcher was involved with one of the girls in the Manson Family and after the Tate/La Bianca murders, he went to visit the Family at the Barker Ranch in Death Valley. This was after the murders, but before the killers were caught. Vincent Bugliosi greatly minimized Melcher's dealings with the Family, as presented at the trial.

If this information is true,what a tragedy. Edgar sounds like a very sad man. No longer will I admire Edgar. Not a good man. Candice…..sinful, no more than anyone else. False title.
