Hm, I feel like they've earned a bit of goodwill back this chapter with the storyline since each season leads into the next instead of "we summoned a whole biome here for no reason, have fun" which was most of ch 4. They keep reincorporating the mystery around Hope and her family for example which is clearly leading somewhere. There are some things in this vid that likely won't be important at all for the story though, like Persephone is likely nothing more than a new skin for the Summer event, but I can see everything else here leading somewhere down the line.

I feel like the answer to the first mystery is that gunner didn’t even need nitro to keep him alive, in fact he was never close to getting killed off. Remember that because of season og, chapters 2-4 never happened? I am confident this is gunner.

i think chapter 2-4 did happen, just a little differently. because Midas was still dead and was able to rise up from the underworld during the last season, so those events still happened, just maybe in a bit of a different way.

I think they wrote themselves into a corner with the Chrome kidnapping the Seven. Because the Chrome is allied with the Last Reality, so the Cube Queen would need to return (which is why I think they scrapped the event where the Zero Point woke up and wiped out the Last Reality, because they needed to be able to bring them back in the future).

I feel like its important to mention that in the original myths of pandora’s box, after all the demons were released from it, the one thing which stayed behind to be found by humanity was hope. Just a cool tidbit to consider.

I have a theory: The reasoning behind how Gunnar (megalo don) returned, is because in Chapter 4 Season 4 when Kado Thorne used his time machine to steal *Gunnar's Stinger SMG*, Kado Thorne obviously created an alternate timeline in which Gunnar has arisen from that alternate timeline. And since many people say he was killed by Doctor Doom, he might still be alive now, just hiding his identity as Megalo Don for the moment until maybe the end of the season.

And he was freed from the underworld when pandora's box exploded creating the sandstorm. We know Megaldon isn't Gunner he just returned as an NPC near Rebels Roost. Also several neew NPCs have talked about a mysterious person and when they feel their presence and when they look behind them the Wanderer vanishes. Also a few NPCs have made mention to the Pirates of the Caribbean event happening

Theory: I think what Zeus was trying to do was bury Pandora's box since he was already too weak to fight more stuff coming from it, and involuntarily he made the mini event happen, probably Megalodon saw the power from it and tried to gather it, so he kidnapped the chaos agent (probably when midas escaped the island idk) to process it (since the chaos agent it's known for his experiments with slurp and other stuff), then after gathering all that he could he headed to the island knowing nitro came from there and that's why there's so much machinery extracting stuff from the ground, for what?, idk but it looks like he just wants power and control, but we'll see. Also sorry if there's something misspelled I don't have English as my primary language.

Pretty sure Magneto or Dr. Doom is The Wanderer. There’s a lot of comic images and references that make it easy for it to be either one. Especially the hooded cape. Doom especially. Not likely, but a Dr Doom and a God Emperor Doom variant skin would be a nice addition. Let Doom be the reason all the mythology stuff is wiped from the map and bring in the F4 to clean it up. The vault in the ice, I’m thinking is probably nothing or one of the Fallout vaults. T-60 power armor is a cool skin but there’s more they could have used. Or…. It’s Mel Gibson and Mad Max is about to wipe out Megalo Don.

If next season is a marvel event, it would just make more sense (and money) to lean into X-Men 97’s recent success + Deadpool & Wolverine will have just hit theaters.
