I saw a video from the director of Dredd and he was asked if he'd do another one. He revealed that the chances were slim because he had several production and distribution companies help him make it, and the legal negotiations to work out who would get what in a sequel would be difficult and lengthy.

Yea pretty much anything MCU is guaranteed to at least have a decent box office pull, even the weaker movies. I don't know why they would put that on the list. Even if it doesn't even look particularly gripping, there are a lot of people who are fully invested in the franchise and will see literally everything they put out.

@@doc8013 I mean, it depends on if you mean doing well compared to other MCU movies, or compared to the other movies out at the time. Because I'm sure it won't do as well as any of the Spider-Man or Avengers movies, or even most of the other MCU movies, but it will probably also be among the top sells at the box office when it comes out. Especially considering there's really not much coming out in the next few weeks, this is the void between Oscars season and summer.
@doc80132 жыл бұрын
@@markzuckergecko621 yeah, it'll of course make money compared to what's out with it. But being number 1 at the box office doesn't make it a success, just as being number 2 or 3 for some other movie may indeed be a success. Well, I am finally here. A couple of months ago when I ran into this video and saw Top Gun: Maverick on this list I made a mental note to come back and say “well well well, look how turntables” once it officially crushes it on the box office. Honestly, I could not believe Top Gun would be on this list, among the likes of Firestarter and Night Has Fallen (??? what)… there was no way this epic blockbuster would ever bomb. Basically, everything around me said otherwise - from people constantly saying they were excited for the sequel, to Tom Cruise insisting it will only be shown in theatres for at least three months, to that last trailer reaching 12 million views in like two days… and boy was my Spidey (Goose?) sense not fooling me: one weekend in theatres and it has already grossed over 300 million dollars worldwide and it will only continue to do better as even people who have never seen the original or weren’t huge fans of it are getting interested and saying they now have to see the sequel, given its stellar reviews. Anyway, maybe I am being petty (ok, I am) but I had to return to this vid with one huge “I was right and you were wrong oh so wrong” grin. Not gonna lie: feels good, man. Cheers!

Lol, I watched the first three Has Fallen movies on Netflix out of curiosity about the titles. The first one is pretty good for an action movie, and the second one was carried by the dynamic between Butler and Eckhardt. But the third one had to do without Eckhardt and was too different from the other two movies, so I thought it was just the final chapter because they wanted it to be a trilogy. I won't buy the ticket price to watch the fourth one.

At this point the protagonist of the X (Blank) Has Fallen will be fighting an Alien armada and beating them singlehandedly.😂

My experience with the "Has Fallen" movies Olympus Has Fallen - Loves it, watched it about 30 times and can quote everything from beginning to end London Has Fallen - Liked it, watched it maybe about 10 times and can quote the major scenes Angel Has Fallen - Ehhhhh... watched it once and only rewatched the action scenes, can only quote the ending funny part with Mike and his dad So yeah, not too hopeful with Night Has Fallen. I'll still watch it, but I don't really expect to like it.

Yeah, but like me, you will still watch and be mostly entertained. I loved the 3rd movie - it had some epic explosions, particularly the hospital destruction!

@@TDRKB the hospital exploded? I only remember Mike’s dad exploding everything.
