It's crazy how rockstar and Bethesda are the only ones to really make their games both first person and third. I want this option in way more games. I know it probably takes a lot of work, but it'd be so good for so many games.

Don’t know what the rambling, all-caps reply above me is on about, both studios have made fantastic open-world games, but I do love the option to go both first- and third-person. I just don’t even want to think about the kind of work it would require. Maybe it’s super easy, maybe it’s torture, idk - probably depends on the engine being developed in.

Nothing to do with open worlds except that the two games I mentioned are open world, but that has nothing to do with having both fps and third person options. A linear game could have both as well. Also, red dead 2 has the least dead open world I've ever played so we might just have to agree to disagree. Lol

I would like a first-person mode for Blade, with third-person finishers...because I imagine it will have finisher moves and finisher combos, and if you defeat the last amount of enemies for a certain wave of enemies, and you crit them all for all their hp, then it should cut to third-person showcasing something pretty cool.

I feel like a Gambit game would be so cool! He has such a backstory with the assassins and the thieves, and I feel like his abilities would translate into a game pretty well. Like an insomniac/arkham style combat system it would be so cool! 🔥

Same. However while I don't own a VR set, I tried the AC VR and some of Alyx. Gotta say they are fun. AC was really fun but I'm biased. Been a fan since AC1. Anyways with how mechanics have progressed using VR, I'm curious to see how this batman game plays. It may not be a game like Alyx. But it can be like AC and be a great step forward for the tech and how the game design for VR games is still learning

Yeah I am so worried about Last Ronin because of Embracer. Im sadly just waiting for that inevitable announcement that the game is cancelled and the studio shuddered? I pray Im wrong because the Last Ronin could be emotionally on par with The Last of Us if done right. One of the greatest Ninja Turtles stories ever.

That was until Spiderman 2, graphics downgrade from Spiderman ps5 remastered, had a 15 hour campaign (same as first game) wich is insulting because we have 2 spidermen, two many mj missions and she was way op, new York was riddled in pride, and still no freaking dlc.

The Wolf Among Us is based on a DC/Vertigo comic called Fables. Though it’s not addressed in the first game, Bigby Wolf was gifted the ability to transform into human form via lycanthropy, which he was afflicted with by Snow White, who cut him with a blade that’d been used on a werewolf. Unlike typical werewolves, his lycanthropy essentially works in reverse and he can transform at will. His natural form, a demi-god wolf, is far stronger than other werewolves… though he is (somewhat) affected by silver.

I thought making a Daredevil game with different types of graphics and environmental affects for cues could be a unique concept, but prob will never see anything like that.

God, that would be so cool. Hell, you could even make it from a blind man's perspective, although a third person Daredevil game with varied sensory powers would also work. The skill tree could involve traits pertaining to smell, hearing, touch, taste, radar sense, balance, reflexes, mobility/agility, acrobatics etc. You could get really creative with how varied these skills are, like having a mechanic where you can balance perfectly on ledges or small points of contact for various amounts of time, or an ability that when activated can make Daredevil change his positioning mid-air or land on his feet. There can be multiple ways to sense environmental cues or opponent's attacks based on the different senses. Not to mention the different upgrades you could make to his Billy club. Fuck, now I'm stoked for a Daredevil game!

Arkane Austin has been shut down by Xbox/Microsoft. Man, Prey was such an experience unlike any other. Not sure if Arkane Lyon will be just Arkane or cintinue to remain Arkane Lyon. This is a dark day for Gaming.

4:55 Note about Capes, genre-wise the game seems to be a pretty much a tactical puzzle game. I was hoping it to be a bit more like the Fire Emblem games, but the impression I have is that it's much more in the lines of making the correct moves or lose the level and retry.

I'd settle for a solo Lego superman game. Just with superman based characters so they could really flesh out Superman's and his villains' powers and their interactions with the gameworld. Give us a large Krypton world simulation from Jorel at the fortress, the fortress itself, metropolis but bigger than in DC supervillains ofc, Smallville but larger again, and dlc adding other alien type worlds from the universe. The phantom zone, war world ( if I recall right ), etc. A wheel or directional menu for more abilities maybe, click L3 while running to super sprint, R3 for X-ray vision/heightened senses, L1 for superbreath to blow things away, R1 for freeze breath, R2 for heat vision, L2 to fine aim/hover/strafe while flying for fine control, tap square for quick attacks and hold for strong or special attacks, circle to grab or pickup, triangle to toggle flight, and x to superjump etc.

Whoever did the Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War games should be given the opportunity to do *STAR WARS!!!* (For Jedi's or Sith's or even BOTH through moral decisions based on brutality maybe) PLEASE! That's all I could think of playing those games is how cool would it be if this was Obi-Wan or Anakin doing all this (my eye's roll back if I could create a avatar of myself and would definitely pay for skins for my avatar). I'm not sure how the Nemesis system will fit into it but I just loved the speed running, parkouring, sneaking, the brutal finishes, combat in general was also very fun and hectic trying to string all those combos, mounting land based or air born creatures, EVERYTHING! It would fit nicely in the Star Wars universe IMO. Which is why I was disappointed when it was announced Respawn was next in line (before they showed trailers for Fallen Order) but hopefully (Monolith) will be next in line and frankly it's way overdue IMO. I hate to say it but on their end they would make so much money off of the micro transactions alone so it makes great business sense for them as well to invest in a great game because we know Warner Bro's can't help themselves...

I need someone to finally make my white whale video game… an Ant-Man game! Imagine a game where you can grow and shrink at will, and at your own pace? Youd have limitations on the duration but you could tackle each problem or obstacle by growing or shrinking? With a crazy unique gameplay feature like that mixed with the weird tapestry of Ant-Man, Wasp and Giant-Man lore from comics I really think you could have a brilliant idea for a game. You can even take a cue from the MCU and give us both generations of Ant-Man. I hadn't heard about TMNT Last Ronin. That sounds pretty cool! Capes is definitely on my radar and of course I am hyped for The Wolf Among Us season 2! The first season was hands down my favorite Telltale release.

Thats wayy down the line. Mk and injustice games are usually 3 years apart. But mk1 was a lil longer this time around. So i wouldnt expect injustice 3 until like 2026 or 7

I hope tmnt the last ronin will be more like “pick which turtle to start out with” then getting the weapons of your fallen brothers as you chase down whichever bad guy they throw at you just to find the twist that it was shredder the whole time. Adds replay ability, if they change how each of them died.

That Blade game could be an absolute sneaky hit. Blade was what proved there was an appetite for hero movies, relatively speaking. Take the decent good bits of Redfall and they're already working with good vampires.

Superman game where his super speed is reflected by slowing down time so everything else but your movements is slow motion and super powerful enemies from the comics and a good level of destruction would be really cool

Arkane Austin (the American B-team that developed Prey and Redfall) was shut down. Arkane Lyon (the main studio that developed Dishonored and Deathloop, based in France) are still active and working on Blade as planned.

If you haven’t read “The Last Ronin” in graphic novel format, I cannot highly recommend that story enough. Especially if you are an old school Turtle fan. It’s absolutely phenomenal.

the reason I'm most excited about Blade is actually because of Redfall. they wanted to make a vampire game but share holders and those with more power decided to make it live service. but now Arkane have the chance to make what they wanted Redfall to be and this time make it good.

I'd love to see a My Hero Academia Game, like you know a good one lol Like one where you can create your own character and you get a quirk through an RNG system and you have to develop your quirk. You can apply to UA High and try to get into the hero course or support course and go that route or you could go the route of becoming a villain. I think that would be really cool

If for no other reason than the potential art style, I would love to see a Rocketeer game. Also, I know it’s not comic book-based in origin, but I’d like to see an Incredibles game as well. Both of those have an Atomic Age-Streamlined aerodynamic aesthetic that’s really interesting.

The Wolf Among Us has some of the coolest lore and world building period. Basically all the children’s stories and Disney princesses left their world to live in NY. The big bad wolf is a homicide detective, and everybody hates him for being the big bad wolf, but he has a murder to solve.

Totally agree about 1st vs 3rd person 😝 If the character has a specific cool look or a look that you get to design yourself, I want to see it. Very interested in the 1940’s Captain America game! 🤗
