azealia points you to a lush cave.

I found a hidden use for a desert well... You need to find at least 2, go in the exact midpoint of the locations of the desert well, then go in 1 direction. if there are 2 (one to the north, one to the south) go eaither east from the midlocation or to the west from the midlocation. You will 99.99% of the time find a desert temple.

Keep in mind: if you have 2 (one to the east and one to the west) it still works, just go north or south.

Revamp the desert well. Add a structure under it or like the igloo some treasure. Or make them bigger. Like a small oasis biome. It doesnt need to be as big as the deep dark city. But certain structures are quite dated.

Loot is already OP. Just go to an ocean and find a bunch of shipwrecks.

(somehow deleted this comment from the comment section of a DIFFERENT video and I'm so confused) Literally, like a few big updates spread between the content additions so they could stop having so many past issues looming over the game every time they want to add new content. They could call it something like "Recrafted Volume 1,2,3" and so on, just taking a bunch of old issues and content, revamping and/or fixing them, and then pushing it out as a moderate update. It seems like that would begin lightening their workload substantially and satisfy both old and new fans.

Its funny because on the 360 before the marketplace even was talked about, i could be buy free skin sets or get DLC packs for minecraft where im getting sick ass skins even roleplay type skins where id use them to show off to my friends. U could even get some for free if u played on and or arounds certain times of the year. There was a skin pack where it had like blaze type skins, factions tribes and all that i decided to get because the skins were just so good. Now u have whatever ppl can design which is ok but now destroys most expectations on decent in game skins as the only way to get 80 percent of everything now is thru minecoins.

@@js8qp2pwisos Me because I’m fine with piss, but dedicating an entire vote to a new cow is pretty underwhelming Then again all of the mobs in these votes are underwhelming… If mojang is such a big studio they could easily add multiple if not all of the mobs shown. Would also stop the community from starting civil wars over blue fairy, grumpy bush, chicken randomizer, etc.

Note: tiger and nurse sharks are completely different species! You may be thinking of sand tiger/grey nurse sharks, which are another entirely different species. And for clarity, sand tiger and grey nurse sharks are the same species of shark, just different common names. Meaning you can call them either or. They're also known as ragged tooth sharks.

Its the problem of modpacks and peoples creations that limit this the most. Most if not all animals have been designed in various amounts of modpacks so making their own without looking so similar and or stealing content from modpacks is such a heavy difficult thing to not even accidently do. So i see why its more focused toward mob vairents or fantasy styled creatures and mobs over actual animals. Pigs cows sheep wolf/dogs cats/ocelots and now frogs are pretty diverse yet simple mobs where u get the typical farm animals in a game and then some pets then some out there animals added in the game. It may be possible that we get monkeys in the game somewhere down the line.

They may as well get rid of it at this point. With the fletching table they had the chance to do 2 things with it. Make different arrow types using the table its self or use it to make the crossbow. The bow alternative. Nope u can just craft alk of these things instead and use a brewing stand to get the potions needed for the arrow varients which u can also craft at a normal workbench or in the inventory. Its so dumb.

I remember seeing those very early videos around the time where its was still on 360 and we had the birth of minecraft parodies and b4 that time as well where people would do these fake vids on wells in minecraft hiding some chest in the middle. It then became commonplace at the time for ppl to just use wells as a place to store and hide their loot out in the open or just have that addition to minecraft that at the time felt like it should be added.

Just mob varients in general. Id like to see mob rankings varients and different class of mob tiers in the game. They have it already on a light implication. U have skeletons and the snow variants who are typically id class a higher ranking mob to the normal one. It shoots a different arrow type giving the player a slowness affect and dealing the same damage. U also have the spider and cave spiders. Cave spiders can poison the player and are smaller and i think faster while the normal isnt. In a very technical term, u have fish varients as well in which only the puffer fish can poison the player, oh yeah cant forget zombies husks and drowned now. We just need it nailed down a bit more heavily than it is. This is one of the reasons i wanted the moobloom in the mob vote to win. Its a different type and we already have villager ranking and types.

And make domesticated variants in villages like cats. Maybe huskies and such in snowy biomes, golden retrievers in plains, etc.

Well mojang has certain rules. One of these being hostile mobs cant be real life creatures, the cave spider is a bit of exception, but you could say that these are fantasy spiders.

Sharks in-of themselves aren’t hostile typically, I would’ve loved if Mojang cleared up years worth of misguided fear of seeing them as monsters and showed them more as how they are, animals that will protect themselves if attacked, or even playfully if you had say fish or uncooked meat in your hand, you attract them, 50% they take it, and a small chance is you loose a heart or two while they take it. Something to show that sharks accidentally bite you, instead of going after you because they ACTUALLY want to eat you.

was watching & have to agree with you that Toycat is kinda undermining [ lol get it ] that whole 1.18 update the technical feat of expanding not just above but below can not be understated in the whole appeal for me in exploration for diamonds or other minerals I can throw on a music playlist now & mine straight copper ore for hours it's so fun traversing the new terrain. Plus I semi want to argue that the incorps of large water pools within caves is a biome in of it's self & swimming round caves creates a fun dynamic plus other changes 1.18 did were great like mobs spawning on light level 0

My point exactly, they changed the entire world generation and changed all of the caves entirely. The whole system of caves have been so drastically changed that Minecraft feels like a whole entirely different game. Exploring the world is brand new again, Antvenom also made a video about how this was definitely one of the best, extensive Minecraft updates ever. I think they gave us even more than we asked, I don't understand the point that Toycat is making, but, that's his opinion, with respect. I don't believe he is right on how it was a disappointing update though.

Yeah, it was extremely difficult to get the deeper underground even working in the first place, plus make it integrate with older worlds smoothly. Toycat underestimates how much effort is needed to make the caves and cliffs update work. Even with the split there was a lot of work to do.

I agree to some extent but i have different views and reasons for my mob vote. Id rather have the moobloom as a mob varient over the glow squid and chilliger because the cow is one of the earliest mobs in the game thats had practically nothing done outside of it being in minecraft with the exception of the mooshroom cows which are biome specific as well. Around the time of the 2nd mob vote as well, weve had many of the massive varieties focused on villagers and illigers even revamping villages, adding 2 new structures primarily toward illigers and 2 3 ish new varients or types of illigers. The glow squid is nice and all but the fact that it got such a backhanded movement in the end of it not actually glowing or pulsating the glow to them only having use for unsueful items typically to being another generic water based mob not long after the aquatic update where it added in all these new mobs and things anyway. The oceans and waters got filled enough in the update that the glow squid is just pointless as an addition unless u want 1 or 2 new unique things to come from it. Not even that big of a difference either.

yes, the blaze boss would be super annoying in the nether, the bear trap mob would really be annoying in the overworld maybe not in the end or nether, the ocean depths mob would be pulling your boat down all the time, the phantom is the least annoying because its only gonna get you if you dont sleep which sleeping is so easy to do and it saves so much time attacking other mobs

I dont see whats the big deal about it honestly. It makes sense to have it. Its not like when lightbulbs and proper form of lighting was 1st invented they hadnt realised that coloured tinted glass would reflect the colour when the light is hitting off of it. I agree with a parity update. After the nether, caves and cliffs, and the wild update, which are pretty massive changes, I'd be okay with a smaller update like a combat and parity or structure update. They've gone above and beyond these last few years and I think they can slow down with some less extreme updates for a bit.

It'd be really nice if Mojang, through the span of a couple years, updated the end and some old structures. But afterwards, for at least 1 or 2 updates, they start adding small things and quality of life changes. If Quark mod was able to do that, then a multi-billion dollar company who owns the biggest game ever can absolutely look at simple community suggestions and implement them. We definitely need a ton of small changes added to the game

It would've been so cool to see copper wires that could interact with redstone or be a completely separate system. Even the copper golem would've given us *some* use for it.

Depending on what you do wool and beds may not be so hard to come by. And you might have a roof. I find them a bit "useless". Like their drop crafts a specific potion you may not need many off. It also repairs Elytra. Which are endgame. And you may also get a mending villager thanks to villagers having gotten rather easy.

Yeah i never understood it either. For console players as we have no hardcore setting, u could just respawn grab ur stuff and go again yet for pc players, if u had them on a hardcore world and died i mean wat do u expect? Its an added difficulty to night in minecraft and actually gets u to use ur bed as ppl got to the point where the use for beds become pointless for the fact ppl could easily live thru each night and not ever need to respawn. It made sense to put them together and come back to it later to make a good reason of use for beds to sleep in regularly either than a save point and respawn point.

Tbh the piglins are annoying don't wear gold they attack even if you wear nitherite armor which you need gold to craft. mine gold they attack open chests they attack and they loot your gold you when you die. Tip when mining neither gold ore use a pixaxe with a silk touch enchantment because if you place the ore in the furnace you get a ingot

Eh. Blaze mob would have maybe allowed for faster blaze rods, and maybe could be more unique to fight. The underwater one would have been useful for custom maps. Losing enchantments would maybe be annoying, but it depends on how it'd work. It's possible it would be that you give it an item and it removes or adds a random enchantment.

1 its wells in general not specific wells because it depends on the biomes they spawn in and 2 they serve no use and function to the game either than a structure sat there normally not even close to anything else but as an indication that villages are supposed to be close by. Which ud tend to see the village b4 the wells anyway.

It was Desert Wells that were specifically mentioned in the video (as they are their own entire structure rather than a component of a village). Village wells clearly aren't designed to 'indicate when a village is close by' because they literally generate in the village itself, sometimes by the edge but no further than a building would generate. Their purpose is for decoration, lore, and they can also serve as the 'meeting point' for Villager AI and for Wandering Traders to spawn, when they have a Bell attached (in some villages, the Bell will generate elsewhere). They may be boring, insignificant structures to some people, but they are only intended as a small detail. Something to get the player to question the world around them. It's a subtlety that not everybody will appreciate.

I don't think they should even be counted as a completely different structure. They should be treated as wells in villages, just small structures which are a part of a bigger thing, here it's a desert and here it's a village. People only complain because it's technically a standalone structure but if it wasn't the case, it wouldn't have mattered.

Wells in real life are related to aquifers and rivers. Having superficial wells in the middle of deserts with otherwise no water makes no sense. Also wells are manmade structures and woudn't be in absolutely uninhabited places.

They definitely made it sound like they were going to make small changes to every biome, but considering all the other stuff from Caves and Cliffs they still haven't finished (bundles, archaeology, the Deep Dark), I doubt they will.

Im jist happy that they are adding in new mobs and actual animals/insects. I feel like weve been long awaited for more actual animals than another random mob. Its just cool to have now a cow, sheep, pig, wolf, cat, ocelot because they arnt the same thing anymore, chicken, and fish squid and now a frog and firefly although i refuse the firefly is a mob over a particle affect with mob styled movement patterns. Oh and tadpoles.

I think they're just being too ambitious. Yeah, they have a huge audience to please, but they're still a small team and should be more realistic in their scope.

It's an amazing update, and I completely understand that the pandemic slowed things down, but they could still have handled it better. They pushed the Warden back twice even though it was supposed to be one of the defining features of the update, and by the looks of it they just completely forgot about archaeology. I'd say it was less about people setting their expectations too high and more about Mojang setting their ambitions too high.

They were already handling the task of completely reworking the entire world generation which involves going into the code and changing some of the hardest, messiest, 10+ year old code and they promised so much more. Arche is literally an entirely new and major system being added but had to be delayed like the warden so the update would come out sooner. Though the update we got is way smaller than in initially expected, the update we got is still incredible.

They definitely do, much much more then other companies... but they also cant make magic happen and have to be realistic about goals and resource distribution when doing stuff.

Players put a ton of strain on and exceedingly high expectations on Mojang. Give them a break.

Personally, I love seeing Minecraft advance over the years, the game is completely different than when I first played it as a 13 year old in late 2009, but its still one my favorite games and I still want to see it change and evolve more, am always hyped for future updates

Yeah bro. I didnt even get to play it as i have a phone from 2015 but it wouldve at least been nice to watch videos on with a consistant basis. They added so many cool features like the muddy pig. I would happily have them at least converted into minecraft its self. Feature or actual new creature type.

Yeah hang on. Why do they constantly get rid of maps being on you in some updates and tend to spawn the player either in the corner of the map or center of the map? I cant see what makes the difference and why theyd need to do so each time. Theyve done it on xbox and pc from my knowledge so whats going on?

@@Hybridjoules Well. 1st would be the moobloom except instead of spawning in the flower forest, it will be MOO-ved to the meadow and it has a rare chance of dropping a sunflower upon shearing. 2nd would be the glare which this time would have 2 modes: 1 where the glare goes to 0 light level spawnable blocks unless if the sky light level is over 0, 2 it goes to any 0 light level block no matter the sky light level. You can switch the modes just by right clicking on it. And it knows if the blocks are spawnable or not. 3rd would be the copper golem which you probably know, presses copper buttons. What would you vote for?

because of the way mojang goes about it. I was perfectly happy with the updates they do, until I started seeing the things they promised. Without their promises, the updates are great and a nice surprise. With the promises? You *maybe* get what they said they were going to do, and ususlly someone og the things get scrapped. Do things get scrapped normally in game development? Yes! But mojang has had this problem for years now, and it hasnt adapted to be a bit more realistic in its expectations. And thats the main reason so many people complain.
