This video is so on. It's just the way it is. I agree about "don't use it, chuck it". I have learned all this the hard way, I'm just toooooo "I gotta keep that!" But I get better every day, like the puppies need one jacket not 3 or one for each season (hey we travel the weather so girl-up! Buy a reasonably priced one that is in the middle, you can always upgrade. The very 1st year I figured out that harbor freight and the dollar stores can fix anything that I'm qualified to fix anyway. I do keep the basic 2 screwdrivers and a hammer, but that's about it. Tools use up more gas than you are ever going to use them unless that is your work or fixing and building things is just your thing and you use them a lot. OK! I said it poorly but you get the idea. :-)

coming from a man who raised his children in a house, who got to experience the feeling of home ownership, you have had those things, most of these young folks do not have that option, and more and more elderly are living in cars and vans from America to China, and NOT because they love to travel, most can not afford to move the van much due to cost of gas.

My biggest hardship on Saturday was trying to travel from Nashville to Manassas on I-40 and I-81. Trying to get through Knoxville on a home game Saturday was the pits! Then... driving past the Bristol area and thinking of Kevin was totally distracting! You really knew what you were doing wearing your Bills gear (that was an ugly game against the Jets... luckily, mostly for the Jets). Take care and enjoy!

My thought as to part of the things that can make van life hard now it that in the public's eye, since the pandemic and the homeless problem many communities are experiencing, people who are living the van life and the homeless living in their vehicles are one and the same. But van lifers want to be in their vans and enjoy the experience, homeless living in their vans would rather not be there. Van lifer's vehicles will generally look nice while too often those of the homeless will be junky with stuff tied all over. But to the public, both arethe same in their minds.
